GET THE LARGE - I'm 5' 9", 155lbs, slim build... and got the Medium and Large. The Large fits much better. The Medium is fine, but a little too tight. I kept the Medium just because! If you're my size and you like a tight fit, get the Medium, but if you like an easier fit, more comfortable, get the large. Overall, these are very comfortable, but not as warm as I hoped for. They work great, but like I said, I was hoping for warmer. I don't really know what to expect in thermal underwear, because these are the first I have every owned, so I kept them, because they are comfortable and do keep me pretty warm. We went to Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming this past May 2024. We wore them once, when it was Cold, 15'F, it snowed and the Wind was howling. The Top and Bottom kept me comfortable and I was not in pain. The rest of the week it was only in the 30's, 40's so I just wore the bottom. Recommend you go up one size, it was snug, it felt like a Wetsuit. Not tight, but snug. Yes I recommend.

I absolutely enjoy them as a base layer or single layer around the house. They are extremely comfortable, durable and many other good things going for them.
