I wanted something that was more modern looking than a typical knife block and thus is it! Itโ€™s smaller so it saves counter space. I love that it matches my stainless steel appliances! The knives it comes with are really nice and it fits more knives than what it came with.

Very sharp black knives with counter top storage. Knives for meat, bread, veggies, and fruit. Also, comes with scissors and sharpener. I would recommend to friends and family.

These knives are great for if you need a starting set for an apartment, or a camping trip, but they do not have the feeling of being a reliable addition to your kitchen. They are very lightweight and the handle feels like a hollow plastic bubble- making the blade feel like it is not secured in there very well. Almost like a few times in the dishwasher and it would come apart sooner than later. The knives are incredibly sharp which is great- and they get the job done well when used on โ€œsaferโ€ items (green beans, lettuce, etc). But, I personally would not use these to cut dense things like sweet potatoes or fruits with thick skins like watermelons. I think the force you would have to apply to overcompensate for the light knife would make it a bit dangerous. ... show more

In my opinion, these are some nice knives. They are very sharp, which could be good or bad. I accidentally sliced my finger first time I used this. It cut through faster than expected and I couldn't move my finger in time (poor me)... Quality product.
