It does not do a good job charging through a case. I charge my phone by the bed each night and often it is not charged in the morning. I wish I had returned it It is very frustrating!

    • Charges my Pixel 6 Pro fast and reliably, but one small problem

I'm using this charger with my Pixel 6 Pro phone. It charges the phone fast (for wireless charger) - it takes about 75 minutes to charge the phone to 100% from initial 50% remaining in the phone battery by the beginning of charging. The only small problem is that even after the phone battery is fully charged it continues heating the phone while it's on the charger stand. At the same time after charging is complete the indicator on the charger goes off which means that charger perfectly detects the end of charging. I measured the power consumption of the charger. It consumes practically zero power when the phone is not installed to the stand, then 14-16 W during charging up to the moment when the phone is fully charged. After this moment and up to removing the phone from charger it consumes about 6 W of power which really goes for useless heating of the phone. This heating should not be damaging for the phone battery (I measured the temperature of the phone in the morning, way later than the phone was completely charged) to be about 30 degrees C ( 86 degrees F), but never the less I'd prefer not to have it. ... show more
