Description

The M-Series tonneau cover has the most compact housing of any retractable cover on the market. It averages only 7 ¼" deep to preserve your truck's most valuable feature – cargo space. The M-Series cover goes the extra mile when it comes to convenience. With the M-Series, there are no snaps to manipulate, no roll or bundle to lash down or stow, no crossbars to negotiate, no folding or solid hinged covers to combat, no fabric shrinkage to struggle with, and, best of all, no worries about the security of cargo. Its patented, clamp-on track design makes it easy to install with the use of special tools. The cover even has a finger insulation grip to allow you to grasp and use the handle with ease. With the turn of the lever and key, the M-Series truck bed cover slides open with a torsion spring stowed inside a 3" aluminum casing. The cover can be pulled back with a built- in pull strap for smooth operation. The cover also features a patented, ratchet-style latching mechanism, enabling it to lock in place at four open positions. The M-Series' unique vinyl-over-aluminum design combines the ease of a roll-up cover with the strength of a hard folding cover. The M-Series also has a patented, four-point locking system to lock the cover simultaneously with the tailgate. Easy to install. Very practical to use. Keeps things dry and safe when in use. Rolls up smoothly and the pull strap is easily reachable. It looks very clean and sleek. Doesn't scream "bed cover". Doesn't ruin the truck bed with rust like bed liners or screws/screw holes.

    • Still A Good Cover BUT

This is my second rolling cover, bought this second one for a new truck of the same model. First cover (2018) was excellent, kept the truck bed really dry and never had any issues after 6 years of use. This second cover (2024) has two issues which are a problem for me. The back end of the second (2024) cover does not have an interface piece that screws onto the tailgate (as the first 2018 cover did) and the 2024 cover end piece does not overlap the tailgate by enough to prevent water from coming in all along the top tailgate edge. Hence, not nearly as dry as the 2018 cover. Second issue with the 2024 cover is the cover somehow become unlatched and opened all the way during a long trip down an interstate, fortunately nothing flew out or got wet as I had a truck bed full of tools etc. The cover was definitely latched and locked before I started out. Since the cover latches at 3 different stops along the way to being open, I don’t see how it could have opened all the way. And I definitely had the cover rail width set at the dimension noted in the instructions. I have since had to modify the cover by removing two small pieces of plastic at the end of the rails which allows the whole cover to move closer to the tailgate to overlap the tailgate a bit more and added some weather striping to the back edge of the cover to try to prevent water from entering the truck bed. Further, I adjusted the rails closer together to just allow the cove to slightly move from side to side in the hopes it stays locked and closed. I may have to add some kind of lock underneath on the rail to prevent the cover from opening on its own. So not sure I would buy this cover again, will see how this goes. ... show more

The price tag may have you wondering if its worth it. Let me tell you a little about it. Install can be a little tricky and needs to be precise. The instructions are clear and gets you though the process. If you're mechanically inclined you will be fine for the install. The packaging is stout and everything looked well protected. The function is awesome. I love the hard top and would not be easy to break into. The canister that the cover rolls into really isn't that big, leaving you plenty of room underneath it to put other cargo. It sits low on the bed rails making for a very sleek look on your truck. I had really high hopes for this item. It doesn't seal out water very well, it feels like it's made of less than top materials for something that cost nearly two grand. It's nice to have something over my bed, but I wish I'd saved a thousand dollars and just got a tri-fold like I had on my last truck. The roll-n-lock product is great; my problem was the Amazon order/product selection process led to Amazon shipping me the wrong cover. To spare you reading the rest of this, if you want to order one of these things from Amazon, first go to RealTruck or Roll-N-Lock and get the correct product number for your specific vehicle. Then, if somewhere down in the Amazon product description of what you are ordering, you see the correct product number, you should be good. In this case DO NOT TRUST AMAZON TO SELECT THE CORRECT PRODUCT for your vehicle. I have a 2025 Ram 2500 w/o rambox, 6 ft 4 inch bed. The Amazon wording leads you to believe it is selling a cover that fits 1500, 2500 and 3500 Rams. The BT402A Amazon sent me fits ONLY a 1500. I had it completely unboxed and in the back of my 2500 before realizing the housing is too narrow for my 2500. I spoke with RealTruck and Roll-N-Lock customer service, the latter even looked at the Amazon listing and noted the all-inclusive 1500 to 3500 language was problematic since the "new" 1500 has unique sizing. The Amazon ordering process does not let you select specifically for 1500 vs 2500, etc. and that's a big problem. Amazon has already picked up the wrong one and credited my card, and RealTruck has delivered the correct one that is now on my truck. These are great covers. They take the least amount of bed space of the many types I've tried over the years, look great, keep out most thieves and installation is easy, even for one person. ... show more

This cover wasn't our initial choice, but we ultimately selected it and were pleased. The M series is slimmer and lighter than the E and A series. It includes extra hardware that my new Ram 1500 doesn't require. I recommend watching review videos before proceeding with the installation. Folding and extending the cover is tight now, but I hope it improves after use. ... show more

Overall very good quality. I had a little trouble getting the fit at the tailgate. Seemed just a little to short. Not very much room at the front of the bed for the seal, so it has a couple of small leaks. It was pretty easy to install, did it myself. Only had to have help to set the canister assembly onto the truck bed. Functions great, haven't' noticed any noise at highway speeds. Looks good on the truck, I have received many complements and wanted to know where I got it. Arrived pretty well packed, UPS damaged the box but the cover was not harmed. ... show more
