So I have exceptionally flat feet due to a connective tissue disorder. Vans, converse, any flat skate shoe has been my only go-to for most of my life. And they work fine, no major complaints, but $80 for a pair of shoes to be middling in comfort, and meh on durability, and just okay on breathability is a bit much. Just needed something light, breezy, flat. These fit the bill exactly. You could roll them up. They are super lightweight but feel pretty quality. The bottoms are pretty grippy. And they are wiiiiide. Like if you find vans to be a little bit tight on width, dont get a wide, because these are likely made a bit wider by design, and getting the wide version is WIDE (but comfy). I wear a 13 in vans and find them snug, so I got a wide 13 in these, and they are roomy. Being a bit snug would be comfortable with these, being so flexible. Also, gym people - these would make excellent lifting shoes. I showed my PT buddy, he said they are a great option and being so breathable is a nice perk over options like nobull and the like. Only cons I can find so far: the laces are a bit cheap. They are pilling, little frayed from everyday use about a month in. No biggie, laces are easy. And avoid rain - they are essentially mesh - not really the fault of the manufacturer, just how it is, they wouldn’t be so comfy otherwise. Just a note. Hit them with a heavy layer of Scotchgard For Fabric and it will keep drizzle out, more or less.

I had originally purchased a pair of sneakers from On Cloud, they looked great, felt good...but man once I walk in them for 5+ minutes it starts hurting the sides and soles of my feet. Unfortunately, I had to return them. I eventually found these and ordered a pair...for over $100 less. Ordered in my "normal" size. They fit great and they look decent. Quality seems to be good so far, no real complaints for the price honestly. I do wear them to the gym for weightlifting and the soles are SUPER grippy and stable. I originally bought a pair of laces for them but was pleased to find that the laces they came with were slightly elastic and best of all they're "soft" and pliable so I kept the original laces. I will say, I walked in these for an hour a couple of times. The first 2-3 times I did that the ball on one foot started swelling a little. But from what I understand now with these "minimal(ish)" style shoes, you need to let you feet get accustomed to them. Sure enough, no issues now walking in them. Definitely considering buy another pair in a different color.

Well i really like these shoes and based on another's review i went with 40 for mens 7.5 size, and wide. I have to say they are just as described. Must walk differently to avoid the heel strike. I've had vibram 5 fingers before....and found that feet sweated lots in those and by the end of the day feet were reeking. However with these i am able to wear socks and dont notice as much sweating as in the vibrams. I did come across some all black converse that were slightly used and seemed to fit well. however after 3 miles of walking developed a blister on top of toe and feet were tired of walking in them. I don't notice any blisters or soreness when using these shoes. I'd still break your feet in by alternating footwear if you are not use to NOT heel striking. but once you figure that out, these shoes you will absolutely love. great product, will buy again. i only put 3 stars on support as these shoes are not supposed to provide support. They are light weight, feel like wearing thick socks.

I’ve had 2 other brands of barefoot shoes (Vivo & Xero) and at the price of these you can’t go wrong. You’d think ‘minimalist’ shoes would be cheap with other brands but they’re just as expensive than fancy mainstream sneakers. These on the other hand fit the minimalist label much better while still looking like shoes. These have been holding up great to my daily use. Got my wife a pair and she loves them too. Consider sizing up if these will be your first barefoot shoes because your feet may relax/ expand into their natural shape. My first barefoot shoe pair ended up being a half size to small almost immediately. Ordered these my size since I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for almost 2 years now and the fit is great.

Feels like you're barely wearing shoes, in a good and a bad way. While the toe box is wide enough to wiggle your toes around and the material allows great flexibility, the sole isn't anywhere as thick as most store-bought shoes. While this isn't a bad thing in itself, you gotta be aware of it and know that you'll feel the rocks and branches and edges of things you step on that you might normally not think about. I've noticed this most prominently in the heel. They fit great as long as you don't tie them tight enough to pinch the tongue though. And their sizing is pretty true. I wear a size 11 shoe, and the 11W fits me well in length.
