Overall a sturdy bed. The wooden planks on the bottom are VERY weak though: I’m definitely nervous about that. Pretty simple to assemble , but it takes a few hours. I didn’t need my husbands help, easy to follow directions. Lights work and are pretty cool. The WORST part are the drawers, they are wire baskets that hook onto the bed by a screw. Absolutely horrible design. Overall for the cost, I think it’ll be a great bed for my son, but there are definitely some flaws. ... show more

My 11 year old granddaughter picked & paid for this bed herself, she has two other friends that have the same bed. The bed arrived a few days early. Instructions were easy to read, and we went step by step, everything was labeled. The bed is pretty cool with lights in head & foot boards. The headboard has charging port. The only con I have is that headboard, footboard and sides are a fuzzy material, which I assume will collect pet hair. All in all it is my 11 year olds dream bed. No tools were required to put the bed together other than alin wrenches which were included & a bag of extra items.
