I used this for my theater room receiver. It's a Denon and it has the microphone to magically set the surround speakers at the correct levels. My receiver is in another room so I needed more cable for the mic to reach. This did the job perfectly. The cladding really seems tough but still flexible.

I'm finding Amazon Basics cables to be affordable and worth the investment. Quality is always nice and issue free. I bought the 25ft length which is over kill for my situation, but it may be nice to have that extra length at some point.

This 25 ft 3.5mm audio extension cable delivers exactly what it promises. It looks just like the product images and feels like it’s made with quality materials. The cable length is accurate, and the connectors fit securely without being too tight. The analog audio signal comes through clearly with no noticeable static or degradation. It's worth remembering that analog signals travel through electrical current, so longer cables can sometimes affect the sound. In this case, even at 25 feet, the quality held up well. I didn’t notice any delay or loss of clarity when using it with my speakers and laptop. If you're looking for a long extension cable that doesn't compromise audio quality, this one does the job well. Works great as a extension for my IEMs on my PC. Cable is very long. The sound is the same so no loss and the cable seems durable/flexible. The wire is wrapped in your basic plastic material. The weight is fine.

greaaat extension cable. np. made connection to tv an headphones under 5 seconds. now thats super UNREAL!!!! reason why i bought this is because i also have wireless headphones that are great, but when fully charged they only give you about 3 hrs, before batteries drain. an if u watch tv like i do every day from 1pm to midnight, i use my headphones, they never need to be charged, an phones sound great:) ... show more
