    • Excellent TV especially for the price
I've had this TV for a few months now and I wanted to wait before I submitted a review to see how it performed over the course of four or five months or so. Well I'm happy to say that I really like this TV. It was easy to assemble and a cinch to install and update. The sound is fairly good. The picture is crisp and clear and the colors are true. I've got the 43-in model because I live in a flat and my living room is not that large so I didn't need a giant TV. The sound quality is an improvement over my last TV which was also 43 incher and that was a TCL. That TV lasted for years and was a good TV too, but the sound was never very good: it was often hard to clearly hear speech/dialogue for example. I don't have that problem with this TV however. That said, if you're really into audio you'll probably want a a sound bar. I just don't need one. And finally, the remote is very responsive with the TV. I'm glad I I purchased this television. I think it's a great TV for the price. My TCL Roku TV lasted about 7 and 1/2 years so I hope this one lasts as long, but we'll see. I recommend this TV if you don't want to spend a fortune on one or don't have a need for a 50-in or larger television. ... show more

I am very happy with this 43-inch Roku TV. The image quality in 4K HDR is excellent, with vivid colors and a very sharp image. The setup was quick and in a few minutes I was already looking at my favorite apps. The Roku system is very easy to use, responds quickly and has access to all the streaming platforms I use. The remote control is simple and practical, and the menus are intuitive. The value for money is excellent. If you are looking for a TV with a good image, easy to configure and with an intelligent system that works without complications, this is a very good option. First week So far: The BAD: Screws were definitely the most difficult screws of my life, to get in tight. IDK why. It so simple yet reviews aren’t wrong. The legs match up perfectly. Only one way to put them on. So, definitely have some real skinny ( 3 or 4 inch screws handy). Other than that the tv is great. Arrived undamaged. set up was a breeze, enter Wi-Fi password, enter passkeys for your paid for channels, download Roku app ( if you don’t have one yet. Not needed but is nice to have a backup remote) BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES AND EARBUDS; you have to connect your Bluetooth to/from a device first (screen prompted), then connect earbuds ( make sure your earbuds are completely disconnected from any other tv or device). Your tv will now automatically connect earbuds when you open them, you won’t have to wait for them to connect or prompt it ever again. It will remember the volume for just TV and remember the volume for earbuds. NO ANNOYINGLY LOUD ADS come up. I haven’t even come across an ad in the startup page with sound. My Fire tv would start blaring a promo upon turning it on, if I didn’t move it back to home fast enough. I hated it. Roku startup page is WAY nicer. “More relaxed” than my fire tv. I can also use the free app as a remote control or find a movie, show or app I want to watch on my iPad and choose to have it start on my tv. This is easier on my brain as I find it much faster and more intuitive. LIVE TV is truly accessible with lots of free streaming. The same streaming services were a pain in the ass to find and navigate on the fire tv. Pluto free streaming takes it’s sweet time ( about 15 seconds) to start a program but I don’t find it annoying as it’s just a pluto screen, no annoying sound or ad to try and convince me to sign up for something) APPS such as walking paths (for treadmill) or others are easily searchable on iPad or tv, options come up right away. There are also quite a few art backgrounds to choose from for when your tv is in standby mode. Basically if it’s a notable painting it’s a free option. As well as moving fireplace or aquarium. You can also easily customize that with your own images. It’s MUCH EASIER than the fire tv was, that why I mention it. Overall, liking it. So far functions great both sound and picture are really decent. The brightness is perfectly balanced upon setup. It is lightweight ( the legs were metal not plastic). ... show more

    • Roku TV’s in 2025 are IMPRESSIVE. Do Not Look ELSEWHERE!!!
High quality 4k HDR at a great price. Two things though: see below. Absolutely couldn’t be happier with my 55” Pro tv. Dolby atmos & 120hz native is amazing at such a competitive price is awesome. 43” select 4k HDR is great too. Sound is not Atmos but it shouldn’t be either. For normal tv speakers, it’s clear & HIGH quality sound and it’s very impressive. I guess you hit the nail on the head in terms of quality vs price. Well done Roku! Couple things to improve to dominate the market over the next decade: 1st, The Bluetooth headphone feature is fine but the downside is plenty of BT headphones, if you take them out of your ear for a moment and set them down, when you hit play on your paused roku tv will default to playing whatever music your phone was streaming in your car rather than playing the Roku tv you paused. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying as using corded headphones would be preferable rather than dealing with this annoying feature. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE or release an official list of compatible BT headphones that function better. Roku app also has issues connecting with my 43” Roku select tv regularly but has ZERO issues connecting to my 55” Roku pro tv. The 55” works EVERY time but the 43” is a constant game of clicking “connect to device” and it constantly times out. Just have to try it many times and restart the app many times and eventually it works. Yes, both tvs are fully updated. Might be looking into buying an older Roku remote with the corded headphones jack?? Maybe that’s the real solution and roku could list that in Q&A to customers. 2nd, I wish they produced the Pro line in a 43” or 50”. Or somewhere in the middle. I’d pay the same price for a 43” as the 55” (insanely competitive regardless) as some rooms simply don’t look good with a 55” as it is TOO big for the space. I get it though, the market likely doesn’t support it. So this 43” is WONDERFUL to fit the bill. I am a happy customer and completely SOLD on Roku finally producing their own in-house tv line. IT’S ABOUT TIME!!! Keep the quality up, use focused advertising and you will continue to grow your market share over the next decade. Do NOT go towards Google tv and try to grow that way by getting greedy and integrating all devices, data sharing, etc. I didn’t go Google tv OS specifically for this reason. Use this fact in marketing to your advantage. Data privacy matters and there is a way to sell this product that refuses to sacrifice customer privacy. I think I want to work for Roku at this point. Purchased this for my home office. Really like Roku products in general. Very inexpensive but picture and sound are good. So very easy to use. Only downside is power plug is non removable like most and has to be mounted on a large mount due to configuration on back of TV. Overall a good buy happy with purchase so far installed it a month ago due to having to purchase a different mount. Connected quickly. Remote easy to use and has voice capability which is nice. ... show more

Great tv. Easy set up. Picture quality is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my Roku TV purchase. Only complaint is they should send the backlit Roku remote with your purchase. Buttons have a similar feel and fumbling in the dark to find my remote or guess at whether I'm on the FF or Rewind button vs some other button is frustrating. The backlit remote that comes with voice activation and remote locator is another $30 -Still debating on whether I'll spend the extra money on it. But the tv has been a WONDERFUL change from the Fire TVs we had been using. ... show more

    • Great TV for a great price. Easy set-up
Take it out of the box, don't touch the screen. Put it on it's back, screw on the "feet", so easy! Stand it upright, plug into the power. Have your Wifi password ready. (Wait with the fire tv stick! Do it later.) Now pull the plastic tap on the remote and push the middle in the big round button on roku remote. Follow the prompts. It'll want your email or text messages to register. Get the email on your phone, I didn't ADD any channels (and use everything free), finally stick your fire tv stick into HDMI 2 in the back of the tv, (not1, not3) it will ask you, what you have on HDM 1: choose "Nothing" (or your playstation.) On HDMI 2: "Do it later" This is important, because it doesn't offer to choose a fire tv stick!! On HDMI 3: "Nothing". Finish the set-up prompts. Your 'Fire Tv' thumbnail will be on the Roku screen with all the 'channel squares' ON THE VERY BOTTOM. But it can be moved to the top. I love to have Roku options, if the fire stick doesn't work (Fire TV works 99.99 % of the time. To reset Fire TV go to "Settings", "Profile", "My Fire TV", "Restart"). This Roku is an easy breezy set-up. Just have your wifi password ready, once you put in the TV powercord to start the set-up. ... show more

Very nice tv. Easy to setup and use. Very nice sharp picture. I love Roku products, and this TV makes the Roku box obsolete. My only complaint is with the sound, it’s flat and plain. Even with bass enhanced it’s still flat. The remote is also ultra sensitive. But still worth the money to put in the room my dogs sleep in. ... show more
