So, I never heard of this brand before. I have been using Lumify for a long time, and I thought it was the best product on the market for getting rid of eye redness. It works great, but that's all it does. I just tried this Rohto Max Strength product, and it will be my new go-to eyedrop. It works just as well as Lumify at instantly removing redness and making my eyes bright white. But it also has this amazing cooling sensation and it also addresses my dry eye issues. My eyes are now white, bright, and soothed. I'm amazed, because this product costs so much less than Lumify. Unless some weird side effects are discovered with this product, I think its popularity is going to explode. It doesn't just treat the cosmetic effect of red eye, it actually addresses dry eye too. By the way, the cooling effect is amazing. It's like your eyes get a blast of arctic wind for a second, and then everything is crystal clear and your eyes look like someone went in and did some photo editing to remove every spec of redness. Needless to say, I absolutely would recommend this product. It works amazingly well and is a much better value than its closest competitor.

I have purchased this product many times and cannot recommend it enough. It clears redness in the eyes within minutes, leaving no trace of irritation. I’ve received compliments on how white and clear my eyes look. It is especially effective for allergy-related irritation during seasonal changes, helping to reduce itching and the urge to rub the eyes almost immediately. The only minor drawback is a brief burning sensation for about ten seconds, but once it passes, the eyes feel refreshed and revitalized. I have been using this product for over 15 years and love it. Friends who try it are often impressed with how well it works. Additionally, it lasts a long time, even with regular use. I will definitely continue buying it. I keep one one on my night stand and one in my purse.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried plenty of eye drops over the years, but I always go back to Rohto. I’ve been consistently keeping it in my rotation since 2023. Rohto is a solid choice for people with dry eyes and needs redness relief. It’s super affordable and just as effective as other premium brands. At this price, I keep multiple bottles in different places (my desk, nightstand, purse, etc), so it’s always within arms reach. It has a refreshing and cooling sensation that can be a bit intense, but I love how awake it makes my eyes feel, especially when I first wake up in the morning or from a nap. If you’re sensitive, it might take some time getting used to. My only complaint is that the bottle design could be better. There’s a loud “Click” when twisting the cap open and popping it back on the bottle (my dog gets startled every single time). Not a big deal, but something to be aware of if you’re opening it in a quiet place or if someone is sleeping. At this price, there’s no reason to at least give it a try, and if you like it, why not have a bottle everywhere you might need it. If you’re looking for an eye drop that works fast and won’t break the bank, this is the one to get! Final Verdict: 100% worth it—buy a few!

Rohto Max Strength Redness Reliever works incredibly well, but I’ll be honest the first drop does burn. It’s a strong cooling/tingling sensation that lasts maybe 5–10 seconds. After that, it settles and actually feels refreshing, but the initial sting is definitely something to know about if you’ve never used Rohto before. Once it kicks in, the redness clears up fast. My eyes look brighter within a minute, and the effect lasts for hours without drying my eyes out. I only use it when my eyes look irritated or tired, and it always makes a noticeable difference. If you can get past that quick burn, this stuff works better than any other redness drops I’ve tried.

It burns or stings for a few seconds after putting in your eyes, but it's cool and relieves your eyes after that. I like it I only apply to my eyes once or twice a day. It lasts a long time and makes your eyeballs white. Lol.

I'm of the "male" variety - if the title was not clear. I've got the blessing of long eyelashes and both parents with dry eyes. To go with this: I was "diagnosed" with blepharitis at an Optometrist when I was thirteen (read: people have asked "Are you HIGH?!" at my red eyelids my whole life). I have always felt "dry-ish" eyes. Please note I stay hydrated. At 32 years old, I am beginning to concede that a lifestyle of 25+ years of looking at screens (video games, working laptop) and aging has meant that the dryness is getting worse. I noticed as well that I was struggling to produce tears. I bought these drops looking for some relief as I had some additional symptoms of "tightness" around my eye. I hate putting in drops but I put on my big boy pants and put two in each eye.. and I was a bit surprised at how much of the "Cooling Relief" I felt from these. I believe that the term "Lubricant Eye Drops" nails it - my eyes feel/felt great when using the drops.. and it lasts a decent amount of time as well. I notice my eyelids feel like function adequately most of the day, perhaps I am lucky here. From my perspective, highly recommend. I'm not sure if this is placebo (perhaps also TMI) but I believe the drops "flushed" a lot of gunk from my eyelids. Especially on the first application when the symptoms were at their worse. I had to rinse my eyelids a bit after application.
