Every year when allergy season starts.... I have to find my allergy zip bag so I can get to the eye drops. I feel like I want to take a wire brush to my eyes, hahaha! (JK) Runny and itchy eyes are not fun. Over the past 40+ years, I have tried MANY over-the-counter brands. I actually HAVE 3 different brands in my Allergy zipper bag. I have determined that the Naphcon-A eye drops work the best. Even in the middle of the night, I use my phone light to make sure I'm getting the Naphcon-A eye drops out of the zipper bag. The only thing that will soothe my eye allergies to makeup. I have not been able To pinpoint what exactly causes my eyes to get red and burn but this helps soothe it if i need to put makeup and deal with it! It takes all the red out and makes your eyes really white. This is my go to.

When I found myself trying to calm the insane itching of my eyes by applying Naphcon A eyedrops every 30 min, I knew I'd found another product that didn't work. I remember years ago there was a different ingredient (hydroflouric acid) and those eye drops worked, but times and research change and we're left with a pretty useless product. ... show more

Be careful--you can't use these more than a few times in a day. When I use them more than a few times a day (more than three--one drop each eye) then I get a foreign object feeling in my eyes. Still, during allergy season, I depend on these to prevent itching.

I used Albalon eye drops all the time but they are not abailable in US. It is great to find an alternative that uses Naphazoline. It is great for redness.
