Whoever came up with this idea, is a clever individual. I always wear tennis t-shirts for my YouTube videos, and this RØDE Magnetic Clip secures my RØDE WE WIRELESS MIC to my t-shirt without creating an awkward fit nor restricting me to attach the RØDE WE WIRELESS MIC to my t-shirt neck collar creating an awkward and uncomfortable sag. It’s a strong magnet for t-shirts and collared shirts — I have not tried it on jackets nor sweaters. I’m glad I purchased it — it fits my particular use, as shown in my picture and video clip. Expensive but useful

As many other people have observed, Rode charges a lot of money for a magnet and a little piece of plastic, but if you shoot a lot of videos and need a lav mic, this solution will be worth the expense. Getting the mic out from under your chin really does improve the sound quality, and it looks better on camera than something pulling down on your shirt collar.

A must have for the Rode Wireless GO

I have had the Rode Wireless Go for a long time now and I think it's great for on the go filming. My biggest issue with it was, if I don't have a pocket in the front of my shirt it makes my collar droop or it's distracting because of the clip location. This fixed that problem! Now I can place it anywhere on my shirt and it doesn't pull focus from the actual message. This is the perfect add of the the RWG. It's really easy to install and highly effecting. Couldn't recommend this more.
