this worked great. i know that amazon a lot of the time does not describe the product or amount very well. so when it came there was only 1. most boats need 2 one for each side of the boat. so i had to order another to do both sides

    • Deception - buyer beware.
Product did not arrive as its pictured. It came in bulk packaging so I don’t know for sure thats it’s a true rod saver brand. I feel like I paid extra to know this, but I’ll never know for sure. There are other comparable products like this that are much cheaper.

This product is an excellent replacement for my casting rods! Easy to install and very durable with excellent strength. Unfortunately I had lost 2 rods traveling down the highway when my old rod buckle came loose.

    • Won't stretch much
It works, but it's VERY stiff and won't stretch more than a half an inch. So, even if mounted loose, it's almost impossible to get it to stretch enough to secure more that one rod and reel. The ones that came on my Ranger boat work perfectly, but I don't know the manufacturer. I may give it to someone I don't like as a gift. :) ... show more

    • great rod holders, the length is adjustable
The two holders on my Nitro rotted out, so I bought these to replace them. I was concerned about the length, but it turns out that it is really easy to adjust the length on them, just slide the plastic cuff back, pull the rubber part out, cut to length, re-insert, and slide the cuff back up.
