  • About equivalent in bass to upgrading to some decent 6x9s.
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
If you want curb pounding bass... or even decent bass that you can hear coming up the street, this is not for you. If you have factory speakers that have 0 bass even after upgrading your head unit like me, and just want to fill out the bottom end of your sound, this will do the trick. My enclave has nothing but 4" door speakers, and terribly cheap ones at that. The factory stereo is pathetic, not even loud enough to hear with the windows down. I upgraded to a kenwood touchscreen, and the volume levels were much better but those door speakers simply don't put out any bass. Added a Rockville Wheel of Bass under the front passenger seat, tapped into the speaker wires behind the kick plate, and the battery is right there too in front of the 2nd row passenger seat in the floor. Everything is hidden, no visible wires, and it rounded out the bottom of my stereo nicely. My enclave doesn't bump, but inside sounds great. Enough bass to slightly rattle a few things in the car and kind of feel in your chest, but not overpowering. As long as you're only looking to fill in the lower frequencies in your system, the wheel of bass is great choice. ... show more

  • Much needed bass
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
I installed this on my Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. This adds the bass and full sound to my (4) 6.5 inch speakers. It has the right thump to the system. Advice ...ensure that you run the ground direct to the battery for this type of install. So far ... I am very happy with the subwoofer..

  • Not worth it
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
Compact and easy to install. Problem is, it gives you minimal bass. Was not expecting booming bass like a full range sub but it is not worth it for what you get out of it.

  • Great compact upgrade
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
Pleasantly surprised with the extra kick this gives. Don't expect your mirrors to rattle off but this really rounds out a stock system nicely. Good bass for the price and size. 90% of your average users will be super happy with it. The other 10% are people that probably just need to upgrade to a box and sub combo for big bass. If you want something that takes up next to zero space and adds way more bass than stock, this is a great option. ... show more

  • Big not for me
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
The problem is the car I drive, 2020 mustang GT with a Cat-Back exhaust and that is the issue, I can barely hear the thing in the trunk. Yeah, I realized when I received it the subwoofer that there is no space under the seat of a 2020 Mustang, where it should be. If it was a 300 watts subwoofer it would be fine in the trunk. Oh well. ... show more

  • Excellent If
Style: Wheel of Bass Under Seat
The wheel of base works great, it was an easy install. (Didn’t come with control knob cord but Rockville helped me out). It is excellent in a 2 Dr Jeep JK and rounds out the sound really well. Like others have said, it’s not a box sub but I wasn’t looking for that level. It does what I want it to do and it’s held up for a month already. ... show more
