    • Easy set up. VU Meter discrepancy.
I am hard of hearing. Most TV shows favor Bass. I have a hard time understanding what is being said. Not only TV, but other things as well, such as YouTube videos, using Zoom Video Conferencing etc. So I hooked this Equalizer up and removed the low Bass sounds and turned up the middle ranges where speech is favored. Now I can hear everything much better without a problem. The unit works well for me, but I noticed that both VU meters run off of the left channel input. so if you plug in the left channel only, both meters respond as if both sides are receiving signal. All the other sliders and volume controls work as they shoud, but the VU meters give a false representation of the output per channel. ... show more

    • Worked for 9 months, warranty only 90 days. I'd skip this!
The 90 day warranty should be a clue. Nothing but issues after 4 months. Lasted 9 months until 1 channel went out. Got a 2nd one, it lasted an hour before the SAME volume level control went out, then when you go to remove the RCA cables, the units connection come out with it..ON BOTH UNITS.

I bought this eq because I use a suitcase phonograph connected in the back of my Sony strdg520 amping some my vinyl just was not as good as other albums some vinyl is just not remastered very will I hook this up and now everything sound excellent happy with my purchase

It’s a ok eq? For the money it’s fine. It doesn’t have the half way notches in all the slides which I prefer. The meter is not a vu meter. It will move even with the volume off It all works.

Recently received and this Graphic Equalizer does exactly what it's supposed to do. Looking at some of the other reviews, I've had no problems, the lights are fine and a small criticism (for me) is the VU meter doesn't always register as accurate. Very happy with this purchase!

    • Shapes my music tastes!
I’m been looking for an equalizer because my av receiver had a basic 3 band installed in it. No problem with installation and was able to shape the sound to my liking. Great workmanship and like the lights that shows well. Other people have said it was too bright but not to me-looks fine to me.

If you're looking for something that's flashing for your stereo setup then this is what you want. If you're more concerned about being able to control the quality of your sound... I wouldn't buy this. It makes a very small difference in sound quality. You paying for all the lights they put in it.
