Got these for a couple of PA monitors in our rehearsal studio and was so stoked! These are great to light up the room and very cool that they are sound sensitive. Easy to unpack and setup and worth the money! Been having a blast using them and adds some vibe and more light to the room. Some of the band members don't like the strobing, so anyone photosensitive to flashing may not like those settings, but good thing there's a small remote to change modes and colors. Not sure how well they would do on the road, but cool they provide a carry case with the package so that it's an option for gigs! Great purchase keep up the good work Rockville, we dig!

I was doing a volunteer show for my 50th class reunion, and I wanted to "liven it up" a little bit, with these lighted speaker stands. They are good for the price paid, but I have a few suggestions. First, I have older DJ speakers (quite expensive) that have larger receptacles than newer speakers, (I assume). To correct this, I used 1/16" rubber sheet to make a slip-on sleeve for the speaker posts, to solve the issue. Secondly, the clamps that hold the speaker pole in place, do not hold. The result, is that when placing the speaker on the pole, the pole slides down, making matching the 2 speaker heights, difficult. Each speaker only weighs 30 pounds, far beyond the specs given. I have no easy fix for this, as per your warning, I did not want to "overtighten" the clamps, and I agree. they would have broken. Lastly, the microphone that activates the lights are not sensitive enough to pick up average speaker volume levels. I would recommend a mini plug input to the driver box, that could be connected directly to one of the speaker leads. Of course, the added circuit would be "attenuated" to prevent damage to the driver box. I am a seasoned electronic technician, and I will have the modification done by my next volunteer event. All and all, I am pleased with the product, and I believe anyone purchasing your product will be satisfied.

The media could not be loaded. The legs bend a bit when u seat a speaker on top . But it looks awesome

I started taking DJ as a hobby and this set of speakers are perfect beginner DJ speakers. Sound is very loud and crisp. Not necessary to add an amplifier they are loud enough by itself. Thinking about getting another pair to compliment the ones I just ordered. Again, great product...

The product doesn't change colors. It has a rainbow type setup from top to bottom. It stays that way no matter what mode. If in music mode it doesn't change colors with the music. It stays in that rainbow color and goes up and down the leg of the tripod, no variation to the colors it offers. Now, if you select a color you are stuck with that color, unless you want to hold the remote in your hand and change colors manually. There isn't an auto mode, I wanted to like these stands, build quality is great, but functionality is limited.
