Introducing the BaseHit pitching machine – your ticket to becoming a stellar hitter & fielder at home or on the go. With the ability to pitch lite-balls at speeds up to 60 MPH and real baseballs up to 45 MPH, this machine is great for all ages. Setting up is a breeze – just snap the three tubular steel legs into the tripod stand, attach the high-impact composite pitching housing, and connect the 12-ball auto feeder. Plug it in, and within seconds, you're ready to hit! Designed for versatility, Base Hit handles real baseballs, lite-baseballs, and plastic practice balls. Adjust the pitch height effortlessly for pinpoint accuracy, making every pitch perfect. The variable speed control allows you to tailor the experience, reaching speeds up to 45 MPH. Important Operating Instructions: 1) During installation, ensure hardware is fully tightened to ensure accurate pitching. If hardware and knobs are not fully tightened down during assembly, this may cause machine to pitch left, right, up, or down, affecting accuracy. Always ensure it is properly installed before use. 2) Never use old regular baseballs, opt for Heater dimpled balls for best performance. Old balls can throw inaccurately and jam. Base Hit's feeding entry intentionally is designed to be just larger than a standard size baseball. If a ball jams as it's going into the machine, this means the ball is not made to specification and should not be used. 3) When not using auto ball feeder, ensure at least 8 seconds takes place before pitching balls. Quick pitching can lead to bogging down the motor and eventually burning it up. If machine is bogging down on slower speeds and real balls are being used, it is recommended to use Heater Sports Lite baseballs for slower machine speeds to be more accurate. 4) Tire may be pneumatic, which means it must maintain 45 PSI at all times in order to throw accurately and sound quiet. If your machine sounds erratic, loud, or vibrates, refer to product instructions on how to correct the tire, or call Heater Sports for technical support. 5) Machine requires 200 watts to run off portable power station.

Followed the directions exactly for setting it up and made sure all the screws and knobs were tight and everything adjusted properly. Works great!!! takes about 30 seconds or so to warm up so if you start it with the balls in the feeder, the first few balls come out limp, but it throws pretty hard on the high-level (and we were using real baseballs). Be careful. Definitely not for professional use but for home use, recreational for kids, it’s great. Be sure to also re-adjust the auto-ball feeder at the proper angle for gravity, depending on how you have the main machine pointing (up for a pop flys or down for ground balls) — adjust and tighten ALL parts each time and there’s no rattling or anything that I read aboutin some other comments. Was a little worried at first based on some reviews, but if you put it together properly and use it properly (especially for the price compared to other really expensive ones) this thing is awesome for kids who use it for fun (and for parents who need a break from consistently being asked to go outside and throw balls all the time). $200 kid-sitter is worth the money 😂😂😂😂 ... show more

the first one received the rubber bands on the wheel popped off with the first couple of ball feed through, returned for a replacement. this one worked great for about a month or two and then it will not turn on at all and it stopped working one month past the return date so i would not recommend it. i may add that this machine was put up after every use. the net that goes with this machine is amazing for the price. we do not take it down because our boys use it everyday. ... show more

Highly recommend. Best budget baseball pitching machine which I've used for over a year so far to help both my 7 year old and 11 year old practice batting in our backyard. Assembly is easy, but again make sure to properly check the hardware and tighten anything loose. Also, ensure the wheels are inflated to the correct PSI, and use only the compatible pitching machine balls. I also recommend buying the auto feed attachment, otherwise be sure to wait about 7-8 seconds between each feed. Considering the price, this serves its purpose extremely well. Pitching performance is not always perfectly consistent but I've yet to see any pitching machine (not even the pitching machines that cost between 1-3k) deliver a perfect pitch every time. This product is the perfect affordable training solution and suits my needs. Basically, I would highly recommend purchasing one of the Heater Sports pitching machines (each varies slightly in price and features) over any other brand within a $120 - $200 price range. ... show more

Given the price in comparison to competitors, my expectations were not very high. I bought this machine due to its advertised ability to use regular baseballs as well as the machine's plastic balls. While the machine is usable, I was less than impressed with its capabilities. It takes a while for the machine to warm up. The first two or three pitches are short and inaccurate. After that you can get a reasonably good pitch. It's still a bit variable, similar to a real pitcher, so don't expect every ball to be in the center of the strike zone. I used the lite balls, in addition to real baseballs, to allow for pitching at higher speeds. The light balls can be compared to whiffle balls. The slightest breeze will catch them an you'll end up with a pitch that flies behind the batters back. Because of that, you'll only want to use the lite balls inside or on days with no breeze. Unfortunately, this machine can not handle baseballs as advertised. After a single pitch, the brand new Rawlings seamless baseball specifically designed for pitching machines had two large cuts in the leather. After just three more pitches that ball was destroyed. That makes it cheaper to just run down to the local batting cages and pay to play. Because real balls get destroyed, using this for any sort of fielding practice is out of the question. I would suggest using the slightly cheaper version of this machine that is not rated for real baseballs if you opt to buy a Heater Sports pitching machine.     • I like it... 10 yr. old son HATES it....LOL!
Okay, day one... set up was pretty easy....connect the legs, connect the pitching device and ball holder... add the balls... plug it in and BOOM! My son said he doesn't trust it. He feels it's going to throw the ball at HIM. When it gets down to say 2 or 3 balls, the holder rattles LOUDLY! Once it rattled, my son got OUT of the batting cage. LOL. My wife came outside and asked "What in the world is that?" The weight of the balls kept it from rattling initially but after a while it will make a sound. I used the rubber dimpled balls so each throw was pretty consistent. I don't think I'll use regular baseballs. I don't think it will throw baseballs consistently or accurately since it only has one wheel that pushes the ball out. If it catches the thread of the baseball, I'm sure there will be issues. I have read several reviews that this machine shakes violently and even one review where the lady said it hit her kid in the head. To the reviews of shakes violently. People need to have a simple comprehension of how things are put together and read instructions. It says clearly to tighten all bolts and put the front of the pitching machine towards the longest third tripod leg, this will stop it from "shaking violently". As for the lady that said it hit her kid in the head, here's a pro tip. Don't be sucking down Busch lights and put the thing two feet away from your kid and aim it directly at his head. It's a great machine for the money, yes it does chew up real baseballs which isn't a big deal to me. Long story short, if you can add 2 plus 2 and love your child. You can put this machine together properly and it won't hit your kid in the head. ... show more

I purchased this item for my son in Dec for Spring training that started in March 2026. After using the machine only 2 times, it’s no longer working. I have recommended this machine to other baseball parents and now I feel really bad to see that the quality of the machine is not good.
