Pros: These things hit a bit harder than a pair of EV ELX200-18SP ($2000) - I've tested them side by side. There is an easy knob on back to adjust the frequencies on the sub so you can get rid of "boominess." I usually keep mine less than 80hz. There is a red clip light on the back that I've gotten to clip at about 125db. They haven't blown yet, and so far I'm happy with the purchase. I was worried these speakers might easily blow or not have the punch or just have a crappy build quality. Cons: The cooling fan on them is a bit loud but you don't hear it if doing a show. They are very heavy and bulky. I can carry them by myself but it's much easier with 2 people. If you're solo DJing these will be a pain to transport. They also may be a bit overkill for small crowds like a wedding. Younger crowds seem to enjoy feeling the bass though. I would purchase again. If I had lots of money I'd go for like RCF subs, but again these are budget subwoofers and work quite well for my purposes. ... show more

Good price for what you actually get. Dont be fooled by "PEAK" power ratings, theese are 700w rms The sound is not bad, my only complaint is the low pass filter. The low pass filter only shows the lowest and highest number with none in between so you need to guess.... is this 120hz? or is this 80hz? who knows? good luck tuning your crossover.... but sound wise its good two wont rattle your ribs but the more you add the less work they need to do individually ... show more

These bad boys kick butt. Ur customer service is great too. I had trouble hooking them up to my peavy 15 inch passive speakers. Had to buy the soundtown 4000 watt amp. Sounds really good. Soundtown emailed me and it was step by step instructions. Great company. I did a gig in a rather large picnic area and I could hear my music at least 200 yards away and it was clear. I bet I can be heard on the moon... thank you Sound Town .... oh yeah, I put wheels on speakers and it helped me alot.. they are kind of heavy for me.. I'm going to take them to Ashtabula Ohio Beach, I'm going to make the sand vibrate...lol ... show more

These haven’t worked since day 1. I have been emailing company back and forth with hood intent but am getting tired of try this to see if it works. I have bought additional speakers. That do work. Additional cables and everything else thought of to get this junk to work. Refunds are a joke. I was gonna send back. It cost more to return than the speakers cost. So pretty much stuck with 600 dollar cat scratching posts they barely make sound turned all the way up to the point that’s already distorted. Only get signal from rcas. That’s about it. Can barely here any bass when all the way up and no other music. Not enough to tell what song it is. Customer service is trying. But not really much help ... show more
