Description
THE PRO AUDIO SPEAKER COMPANY There is no doubt that the 6MR500-NDY-4 is one of the best midrange loudspeakers for audio professionals. It offers excellent durability and a smooth full-range response up to 13,000 Hz. You can expect an excellent sound stage and realistic sound reproduction with this loudspeaker’s wide coverage and transient response. This refers to the ability to accurately reproduce rapid changes in sound, contributing to a high-quality audio experience. The powerful neodymium slug magnet assembly ensures high flux concentrations. Its magnetic structure significantly improves heat dissipation. This increases power handling and lowers power compression, with an optimal power-to-weight ratio. Everything about this speaker is designed for reliable and consistent high output levels even when driven to its limit. This allows you to achieve high fidelity sound at low distortion with the most enjoyable possible listening experience. 2 Speakers – 1x MDX1200.2 1 Ohm, 2 speakers in parallel on bridged channel 4 Speakers – 1x MDX2500.1 1 Ohm, 4 speakers in parallel Recommended HPF using PRV Digital Signal Processor DSP when using up to 500 Watts RMS musical power 220 Hz at 12 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT12 180 Hz at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 If you have compression drivers on your system the recommended LPF is 5,000 at 18 dB per octave filter Crossover / BT18 but you may set it lower to blend in better depending on the other components in your system, or you may not use a LPF at low power to take advantage of its high frequency response.
