I hooked up 4 of these to a 320W Bluetooth amp on my back deck and patio below. Turned out to be a great combination for the level of sound I wanted. Loud enough to have some music going for parties and gatherings without annoying the neighbors. I can turn it up a lot more, but I don’t want the cops called or my neighbors hating me, haha! Good amount of bass for the size, and not tinny at all. I’m very impressed by the quality of the sound out of these speakers. My only concern is the weatherproofing in some of the holes, they seemed to only be loosely filled with some kind of thin batting material and could easily be accessed by bugs/wasps. I’ve got them tucked away under awnings and eaves, so they shouldn’t be affected too much by sun or precipitation. But the build quality seems solid enough that I’m not worried. Great value speakers! The media could not be loaded. We installed these on the upper deck of our houseboat with AMP pushing them. They do well for the price. If you are not concerned with having really deep bass then this is a great value with solid , loud sound. They do get loud. I bought these speakers for down stairs patio / fire pit area. The look good. Sound good. Easy install. I have upstairs speakers on the deck from another brand. They are a bit louder but to be fair they are a bigger size. I didn’t buy that same size for downstairs because the deck was cramping me for space between the lights and where the speakers was to go, so I picked this smaller size to fit the spot. No these are not Bose or JBL Pro outdoor speakers , but they are a loud and decent sounding pair of speakers for the price . Rockville is a bang for the buck company . I also own a pair of Rockville BPA 15 15 powered speakers and boy do they crank .
