Cast Film is form of vinyl wrap used; casting film will last slightly longer than your normal calendered film, is a little thinner and has a minimum amount of shrinkage compared to others. This might be good for small projects or certain applications, but wrapping car hoods is not one of them... For starters the roll came in bend with very pronounced creases that were very difficult to work out, although it didn't matter because this material tore while trying to install. Okay so I knew the vinyl was a small portion, and I was not incorrect! This would be really well suited for a small car for sure. I've used vinyl wrap once before on my headlights because I found this cool holographic rainbow effect and completely made the headlights look brand new. These vinyl wraps for cars are cutting edge! They can make your ride brand new again. At about half to a quarter of the cost of painting. You can wrap any part of your vehicle inside or out, just make sure you get the breathable stretch ones like this product I'm reviewing. They only cost a few extra bucks but in my opinion they're totally worth it! All you need are some basic items, a razor, credit card and soft micro fiber towel, or any substitute for those to put the wrap on and have it look like you went and got a whole paint job! The quality of this particular product is definitely worth the investment. If you're on the fence, I'm telling you once you research car wrapping you're going to wonder why this isn't huge and why nobody is talking about these! Highly recommend this product!! As an Amazon Vine Member, I give honest reviews, whether or not it is a good one or a bad one. I'm a person who immediately checks reviews on everything, and I understand how important an honest and thoughtful review is.

I am an amateur at best, and even I made it look good minus a couple of glue lines that I now know how to handle but didnt at the time. Now they have improved vinyl so much since I attempted my first job in 2020 which was possible but not great at all. I do love this vinyl, its so much easier to use and the air release system is great. Now for the down sides so it looks great from a distance but compared to my wifes Cadillac factory pint it looks like a bad orange peel, it also is not as black and has brown undertones in the sunlight which makes it stand out quite a bit, but unless its in direct sun you do not notice that.

This is an excellent self-adhesive car vinyl film. RockRose Ultra Gloss Black Vinil was perfect for a project I'm currently working on. I don't have much experience with self-adhesive car vinyl but it worked out well for me. The film sticks well and it is easy to level it so that there are no wrinkles and air bubbles.
