I recently installed these LED Light Bars to use while camping with my Jeep, and I’m incredibly impressed with the quality and performance of these lights. The 18W LED lights provide an exceptional amount of brightness, making night driving, off-roading, and camping much easier and safer. The wide flood beam they emit covers a large area, which is perfect for illuminating dark trails or wide-open spaces. Whether driving on a pitch-black road or exploring rugged terrain, these lights have significantly improved my visibility, giving me confidence and peace of mind on all my adventures. Both lights running together is 24 Watts - not 18, but no biggie. I connected these to the cigarette lighter to use with either my Jeep Batt or Jackery Power Station. First of all the package IMO is great value for money spent. Lights work great! My only issue is the wiring harness and the clamp diameter (my fault). The Kubota uses large diameter pipe for its roll bars (in excess of 2 inches diameter if the clamp inner diameter is true) hence I resorted to not using the pipe clamps and fell back to just the older adjustable slide bracket that is also part of the package. The main issue that I had is that the wiring harness is not uniform on the split to the two lights. Its fine if you are running the harness on a side by side (I was mounting them for rear lights tucked up under the rear roof lip) that has two rear verticle struts. However the Kubota uses a beefed up verticle center strut (that is not mounted behind the rear seats) which means that the short lead will not extend across 1/2 of the width of the roof without running the total harness part way down the rof line and doubling back with the long lead to the other side. It makes for a sloppier looking installation. The lack of side verticle struts means a longer distance to travel from the battery. Of course I could have added another section of home fabbed harness to make the leap from the center strut to each side where the lights were being mounted, but I had already added another long section of home fabbed harness to allow for the longer distance from the battery, through the passenger compartment (behind the front seats) and up through the single rear verticle strut. The Y split IMO should be uniform in length and let the installer cut each to length to fit the circumstances. Don't bother to preinstall the shrouded plugs on the harness side just like the way you ship the male plugs on the light end. Finally the long lead from the battery to the dash mounted switch was just short of making it. Fortunately I had also purchased one of the goofy saying Nilight 5 pin rocker switches to replace the included 3 pin round switch. It came with a set of pin jumper wires which was enough extra wire to reach the harness plugs under the dash. Finally the jumper wire male connectors that came with the new switch had wider male blades than the female recepter plugs on the harness. The problem was solved by using a flat blade screw driver to spread the rolled connectors rather than cutting off and replacing them. I would have exected Nilight to use consistent connectors across their product lines. All in all, I am pleased with the package and in the process of now installing a front light bar from Nilight. I like the products. The only issue is be aware that some with larger side by sides and different roll bar configuration may have a bit of a fitment issue depending on how clean an install you want to make. ... show more
