I used this knifeless tape to complete a wrap on a golf cart project I was working on. I bought one roll, but wish I ordered 2. Its easy to use and works as it should. Tape went down on the car okay and stayed in place while putting down the vinyl. But when trying to get it to cut the vinyl as it's intended to do so -- the thread did not want to cut through it's own green tape as it should to then cut the vinyl. As you can see in the photo, the whole thing just wanted to rip through the vinyl - which does not give it a straight cut edge. In addition, the thread was so weak that if you pulled on it too hard, it just snapped. After about 2 hours of working with it and scoring part of the vinyl and green tape with a sharp razor blade (only enough to score it, not cut through or damage the vehicle), I finally got it to work and was able to finish the project. But I do not recommend this tape as it did not work as intended, and I have used other cutting tape in the past that worked just fine. ... show more

THE CUTTING LINE IS LIKE PINK THREAD FROM MY GRANDMA'S SEWING MACHINE. I CSN BARELY GET HOLD OF IT AS IT IS VERY SOFT. IT ISNT SHARP ENOUGH 2 CUT ITS ONLY DELIVERY JACKET LET ALONE THE VINYL THAT ITS INTENDED TO CUT. I TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT BRANDS AND STYLES AND ALL GOT BASICALLY THE SAME RESULT. IF U HAVE 2 PEEL YOUR VINYL AND RESTICK, YOU MIGHT AS WELL REDO THE CUTTING TAPE BECAUSE CHANCES ARE, IT MOVED. THAN CUTTING THE VINYL IS MORE OF A TASK. Just buy 3m. Straight up. This tape can't even cut through its own housing and barely gets through the vinyl IF you can get it to start cutting. Some places you can save some money but don't do it on this product. Just buy 3m.
