So a couple prefaces and reasoning for my review and rating ; so I got the 24x48 size table with backsplash. I paid 76.28 for this in April 2025. For whatever reason that was a lot cheaper than the version with the same size with out the backslash. The price was awesome, I couldn't find a used one here in Southern California for that price. I read the reviews and there were comments about difficulty assembling, removing the film as well as scratches and rusting. I just got it today, the assembly wasn't super difficult, I did it myself, I am 50 and fit but not Godzilla and 5'9 155. Was it heavy, yes so if you are not used to moving or aligning heavy pieces you will need help. I would say though heavy, it was easier to assemble that 90% of the Ikea items I have had in life (and I have had a lot). So I wouldn't mark it down for assembly. Regarding the film used to protect it; did take some time to remove it, yes but it wasn't horrible. I just chilled and tried to make it as meditative as possible. Assembly and film removal took like 90 minutes interspersed with a glass of wine. It did come with some scratches, based on the other reviews I was expecting that. Were they horrible, no., it's going to get scratched if you are using anyway. Also considering the price I dont think you can expect something flawless. If I paid $200 for it would I have expected it more flawless. I didnt pay much for it so as a result it's reasonable not to expect perfection.Having said that, it's attractive, seems sturdy, arrived 3 days earlier than promised. It was packaged well. It's day one, I yet cant speak to the comments regarding rusting. I live in the desert in Southern California and it will be used inside, I also plan to keep it clean just using mild dish soap so hopefully that will avoid those issues. The only reason I deducted one star was for the unknown issue yet of rusting/ discoloration mentioned by others. In a few months I will try update the review regarding those issues. Thank you, be well and try not to overthink this purchase.

Love this! Very easy to assemble, looks nice, very well packaged, stable table with plenty of workspace. Would definitely recommend. Easy to clean, move and bottom shelf holds a good amount of stuff.

It’s exactly what I expected in a cheap Chinese table. FYI, Top is stainless and bottom is not. I bought a used one for $106 so I expected more dings than it had. There were 2 along the straight edges and I assume that’s why it was returned. I personally wouldn’t have returned it for that but some folks think they are getting commercial kitchen quality tables for $129. I have the correct tool so it’s a 30 second fix but I probably won’t even bother with it. The previous purchaser scratched the top with a knife trying to remove the film and I found that more annoying than the dents. All in all, I am very satisfied with it. I bought it to place my little outdoor pizza oven on and it works great for that. I keep my bags of wood on the bottom shelf. I even have extra room to put a 1 burner black stone on top and I can Cook the sausage and/or other toppings right before they go on the pizzas. It’s red neck heaven.

Overall the table is good. The top of the table is very sturdy and well made. The seams underneath the table are sealed with silicone. The feet are adjustable so you can level it on any surface. The assembly was very easy My only complaint, and I’m sure it has to do with it only being 18in wide. The table is wobbly and not very sturdy when assembled. I tried it with the shelf being all the way at the top as well as half way down. Maybe all the way at the bottom it would be more sturdy but that is not an option for me at this time. I will look at adding some wider feet. It will work for storage but I’m not sure I would use it for much more.
