Nice sturdy table, hard to imagine getting anything better for the price. (Why is the version with backsplash and no casters so much cheaper than all the other ones?) I was disappointed in how much styrofoam packaging was in the box. I've had bicycles shopped to me with less packaging! Most if not all of the styrofoam pieces could have been corrugated cardboard, which I can at least toss in the recycling. As it stands, I now have a huge trash bag full of styrofoam pieces. Putting it together was smooth enough. The biggest pain was removing the protective film, which wanted to come off in 2-inch strips or smaller, especially the narrow pieces that wrapped around edges. In return for that annoyance, you get pretty much unmarred surfaces. I'll be putting stuff on here that's sure to scratch it up, so it was kinda lost on me. I've got an electric sterilizer and a pressure cooker and cooktop on the top shelf, and I'm using the bottom shelf for storage of relatively lightweight things. It's plenty sturdy and stable for this, but I can't say how it'd go with the full rated load. I haven't had it for long, but I'll update the review if anything comes up in the next few months. ... show more

I got this when it was on sale. I can’t remember what I paid. Maybe $125 I think normally it was a $100 more. But definitely worth the price! This is used in a sterile area inside my private studio. Everything was perfectly packed and shipped, easy to assemble and it’s very stable, I got the one with casters which made it taller, the one without casters would’ve blocked my outlet, perfect fit! I got 24”x 60”and if I ever need to move away from the wall it’s super easy. You can lock the wheels into place. The casters are heavy duty and well made. I don’t think the bottom shelf is stainless steel, it’s does have a different metal shade to it. But the top shelf seems to be stainless. I have a machine that uses water that gets up to 134 degrees and so far no issues whatsoever. I use the counter everyday. I assembled it nov. 9th and so far no rust or warping. I’m not sure about the other reviewers but mine came pretty solid no dents only 1 small area of a scratch! Its hidden in the back, so it doesn’t bother me. I’ve attached many photos so you can see. You can see the weld spots around the edges, but you got to expect that. The welds on mine are clean and perfect. I’m so glad I purchased!! Great product and price that I paid. Rubbing alcohol helped get the glue from the tape off. The tape for me came off pretty easy, no hassle. Not like what others reviewers said. Highly recommend wiping it down with alcohol after assembly. I then polished it with a stainless steel cleaner. ... show more

The delivery was on time, the box was in great condition and when I opened the box I saw a well thought-out package. Only tool needed was a Allen wrench, which was supplied. Very easy to put together, took about 15 minutes. No damage to any parts of the table. The only thing I found strange was in the instructions, it suggested to install the shelf first than the top. I found that to be very cumbersome and not easy to do. I left the table top in the box, turned bottom facing up. Installed the legs into the slots provided, tightened the screws and than installed the shelf, bottom facing up. No where in the instructions did it mention how much distance from the top to install the shelf. I installed it 17 inches from the floor and that seemed to make for a very sturdy installation. Tightened all of the screws and it was done. Turned it over onto it's feet and both the shelf and top were perfectly level, I used a level to check it out. I have been using the table to make breads, pizzas. This is not a negative towards the table, but may be important to know for some. Kneading dough on the table is great, the table stayed in place and the surface was cool and did I did not have any problem with the dough sticking to the surface. What did become a problem is that when I used my Kitchen Aid mixer to make the dough, when I put the mixer on mid speed, as one expects, the mixer does jump around a little, ok a lot, and what happens is the mixer stayed in place, this was great, but the table was moving around on the laminated floor. So far I have not found a correction to this problem. Maybe someone will have a good suggestion. Anyway, glad I bought this table, after the holidays I will be buying a second one. ... show more
