  • Wonderful addition to our kitchen
Size: Chopper 4 Blades
I recently walked into our kitchen and was surprised to see my wife meticulously cutting potatoes into French fries with a knife. As I watched her, I began to think about finding a more efficient way to help her out. I recalled using restaurant-style choppers and slicers in the past and decided to search for a suitable solution online. While there were several cheaper, plastic versions available, I opted for the heavy-duty VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper. This chopper came with four different blade types, and I ended up purchasing all of them - 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", and the apple corer blade. When I first showed the chopper to my wife, her reaction was unforgettable. She was initially upset with me for not getting it for her sooner, but once she saw it in action, her frustration turned into gratitude. The chopper made the task of cutting potatoes into perfect fries incredibly quick and simple. As a result, we've made numerous batches of delicious French fries together since acquiring the chopper. Using the glove provided, we simply peel the potato and place it on the slicer blade of our choice before pulling the handle. Within seconds, one potato is transformed into perfectly sliced fries, thanks to the sharp blades of the chopper. The utility of the chopper didn't end with just potatoes. Recently, I purchased a 50-pound bag of carrots for only $15. We proceeded to chop and freeze the carrots, and the results were astounding. By doing this, we calculated that a one-pound bag of frozen carrots, which typically costs $1 to $1.50, equated to savings of about $35 for us. The chopping process was made smoother as the kids pitched in to help peel and bag the carrots, and we managed to finish everything within an hour, thanks to the efficiency of the chopper. Overall, the VEVOR commercial vegetable chopper has proven to be a great asset in our kitchen. The impeccable quality and functionality of this product have made our cooking experiences more enjoyable and efficient. ... show more

  • Easy to use and fast.
Size: Chopper 4 Blades
We tried several other potato slicers before discovering this one. Heavy duty and easy to use. Very sharp blades. Making French fries is a breeze now. Various blades for different size slices. Easy to clean. Out performs the other slicers we tried. Great product.

  • Easy to use and really nice to have.
Size: Chopper 4 Blades
I held off getting a french fry cutter for far too long. The ease of simply chunking a potato into perfect equal size fries in the blink of an eye cannot be overestimated. The cutter is sturdy, it cuts with ease, and it's nice to have numerous cutter sizes. There are a couple downsides however. The size and shape of the cutter itself makes it difficult to efficiently store. That's a typical issue with this type of implement and something to be expected. The other downside was a minor production defect. One of the screws that holds in the plastic insert had the threads a bit buggered up. It was difficult to screw in and unscrew by hand, which it what it's meant to do. Also, the screw was stripping out some plastic each time it went in and out. Upon closer inspection of the screw I could see that one of the threads wasn't fully cut. Luckily, I own a tap and die set. The screw is 1/4-20, so I just cleaned up the threads. Easy enough if you have the proper tools. Unfortunately, most homeowners don't have specialty tools. ... show more

  • 1- pound potato, 2- pounds potato, 3- pounds potato done. It’s that fast.
Size: Chopper 4 Blades
This slicer works really will but it would be nice to have larger legs so a standard bowl could fit underneath. We have to use a shallow and small in diameter bowl to fit between the legs . Other than that it works good

  • Worth the money
Size: Chopper 4 Blades
Spend hours cutting up vegetables? Wish it would just "get done"? Well i have a product for you! Joking aside, worth EVERY penny. Hours of work done in minutes, it also has multiple sizes so you can dice them how you want. The only downside is the blades being how they are can be difficult to clean fully but that is honestly a moot point for me since this saves hours and hours of time. I have done carrots, onions, peppers, potatoes, tomatoes and even roasted some hams and diced them up. onions and peppers are a joke to this thing, they don't last long. For tomatoes I would say go no smaller than the second size as the smallest size makes them kinda smooshed (more smashed than cut). The ham turned out AMAZING, such small chunks perfect for sandwich or pizza. If it ever broke, I would buy it again no questions asked though it is rather a simple design so i doubt that will happen. You do need a bit of strength the small the size you go for the blade and the more you want to do at once. I would say peel the onion and cut in quarters and do it that way. It will take you longer to do this than to do the actual dicing. Also, i would get a tray of large baking dish and place this inside it and chop like that so you don't have to stop all the time to empty the bowl under it. ... show more
