The table is shipped with a complete protective plastic cover over the top and the shelving unit. The table itself, when constructed, is fairly heavy, so you will want help in being able to erect it once the legs are all bolted into place. The leveling feet are really sturdy and well done, however, I did not need to utilize them as a table itself was really flat on all angles (I checked it with a level) The manual states the table can hold up to 870 pounds. I’m going to be using it to support a 110 pound freeze dryer along with the accompanying vacuum pump. My load on it should be less than 175 to 200 pounds total when I’m using it. The lower shelf does not have the same load strength as the top, however it will hold a good amount of goods. Really nice table for the money!

Assembly was easy, taking maybe 10 minutes. You’re given the option of installing a fixed base or casters. The fixed leg bases are height adjustable and pressed into place, so don’t install them if you ever plan on removing them. The casters are nice and heavy duty but the installation method is a little unusual, tightening a washer down onto a rubber bushing, causing it to bulge and become a friction fit inside the tube legs. It works, but a little different than I’m used to. Fit and finish is nice and the table was received with no damage. It does seem a little on the high side, with the top of the table above my belt line, but I’m also short, so YMMV. Set screws are used to tighten the bottom shelf against the legs, so be careful putting too much weight on it - I think the shelf is sturdy enough, but how tight the set screws are will dictate how much weight it holds before sliding down the legs. Overall, it feels like a heavy, durable, stable and well built table and I have zero qualms about putting expensive equipment on top of it and will be ordering several more for our business. As others have noted, the film is difficult to remove, but if you peel small sections at a time and avoid tearing it, it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to remove.

The top of the table is great, rolled edges and looks like quality stainless steel, can’t be as satisfied with the shelf, it does not appear to be stainless steel but may be zinc coated. The legs are very strong and appear to be stainless as well. I bought this to be used for my pizza oven and to store it underneath when not using. Looks like it will work like a charm. The product was easy to assemble. I didn’t need the instructions. It came with 2 extra hex screws just in case they’re needed. The way I assembled it is as follows. Start with the top upside down on the cardboard on a firm surface, loosen all the screws and insert legs, don’t tighten yet. Loosen screws on shelf and get it started on the legs, next is to get a box or bucket and set it between the top and shelf, (the cart is still upside down) this will get the half squared off pretty close. Next, is to tighten the screws, suggest not using the tool that came with, you’ll need to tighten way more than what this tool will do. You’re going to need to use a ratchet with a hex bit driver to get them tight. Once all 16 screws are tightened, turn the table right side up and your done. If the shelf was made of the same material as the rest, it would have been rated a 5 stars. I hope it will hold up being exposed to weather conditions.

It came in good condition, no dents that I have noticed yet, I think one of the legs put a hole in the box, but I got this about 6 months ago and I do not remember it that well, so at least not so bad that I remember a bad condition on delivery. I got this to replace the oven and counters on one side in my house kitchen. It gives me a little more room between the two sides of my small kitchen. It is just about the same length as the 2 small counters and the oven were, with a nice open shelf on the bottom. I am now using some small cook tops, air fryers and a pizzazz to cook with since the old oven got stuck in the on position and caught some food on fire, could only turn it off by the breaker. It worked great for me, and I like it more than the old things that were there. While I was at it, I replaced the broken microwave with a hood in it above the oven and put in a new hood so now I have a working hood. Weight is okay, easily moved with 2 people. Height is perfect for sitting and cooking for me. If you are under my height, I am 5'9", it may be too tall for you to sit at. I believe it is about 32 inches tall, about 2 inches shorter than the old counter tops. It does have a 2 or 3 inch back plate on it and that makes it about 34 inches on the back. I was able to assemble this by myself and had help getting it in place in the kitchen, would be better to assemble in place if you do not have help, my brother was putting things up in the kitchen while I was assembling this, so I assembled it in the dining room. It came with a plastic coating that you can remove. It wasn't too hard to remove but it had a tendency to tear. I was able to get large portions of it off without tearing it. Very easy to clean, I usually use clorox or lysol cleaning wipes. I like the stainless-steel look, if you don't then why are you looking for one? It matches our fridge which is right next to it.

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are complaining about in regards to pulling off the wrapping. I didn't have any issue with that as I moved slowly and thoroughly, and it came right off. My table DID arrive bent and scratched on the backsplash but since I have ordered the shelving unit that goes with this, and it will be against a wall, it's not a huge deal for me. ** So to the manufacturer, use threaded paper tape which is stronger than the packing tape you have used and use more Styrofoam. The box I received had all of the pieces stacked on top of one another with no protection in-between to keep them from scratching one another. The tape used to seal the package isn't strong enough against the weight of the product in shipping**
