I bought and I installed this kit along with the Rockford Fosgate amp. They worked great together and made the install in my 2013 Harley Ultra about as easy as it could have been. I did wrap the wires running to the tour pack in electrical tape all the way back to hide and protect the wires a little better. I have had everything in for a few months now, and so far so good!

true plug in installation , directions included will not be enough for anyone not completely familiar with the removal of the gas tank , fairing , seat and side cover , a factory service manual is a must , directions included are vague at best , that being said it is a quality product

Wiring harness was easy to install and really made the job easyer in this case because of the short amount of 8 guage positive cable needed and the extensive wiring for the speakers on my 2012 HD Ultra classic. The mounting plate and intagration of this kit is a poor design and NOT well thoughtout by Rockford. These completley forgot or advoided the reinstallation of the CB/Com system. How do you remove a major part of the system and not consider yhe reinstallation of it in your kit. Have never seen anything like this from any kind of company.. This kit say it's for 2012 HD Ultra Classic FLHTCUI. These bike come standard with the CB/Com system. The kit makes no refference to in the directions yet Rockford installs the Amp with their mounting plate where the CB/Com system mounts. The directions are written as if the is no CB/Com on a Ultra.. and the directions are dated I believe back to 2011..makes ya wonder whos behind the wheel. I double sided tape the CB/Com system to the top of the Amp. no where else for it to go??

BOUGHT THE WIRING AND INSTALL KIT FOR MY 3013 ROAD GLIDE ...PULLED THE FARING LOOKED AT THE DIRECTIONS ME AND MY BUDDY MOUNTED THE AMP AS SHOWN WITH THE BRACKET SUPPLIED RAN THE WIRING HAD TO TRIM THE AMP MOUNT FOR PROPER CLEARANCE .TRIED TO INSTALL THE FARING HEADLIGHTS HIT THE AMP ,,,HAD TO PULL EVERYTHING APART AND VELCRO THE AMP TO THE TOP OF THE RADIO ...WASTE OF A MOUNT
