Best desicion upgrading from the Rockford fosgate 6.75 prime to the pps4-6 the difference is unreal ! I was not happy at all with the sound quality of the primes the difference is really night and day if your on the fence about buying this speaker jump it's worth it I only got one so far for my front driver door next week I'll do the passenger and just with the one it sounds amazing I can't wait till I get all four I'm going to get the punch pro tweeters to and upgrade from the punch 3.5 inch 20watt RMS they aren't great just don't handle enough power I constantly smell the voice coil burning at high volume and I have my gain like legit off but really get this speaker if ur looking around and can't decide it's loud clear and just completed ur system j promise you will be more than happy with it . ... show more

You will be hard pressed to find better speakers for the money. These speakers have some impressive numbers in the datasheet, and they are real, unlike given by many other companies. I compared these speakers to several others with much better looking specification numbers just to realize how little those numbers mean. If you want clear and loud sound from high power, high SPL speakers, look no further, this is what you need. I installed four of these in my son's car and going to install the same for myself. Please keep in mind that you need a separate subwoofer to cover frequencies from 150Hz and below, these are midbass speakers that can cover frequencies from 150 Hz to 5 Khz. ... show more

I push my sound system to the limit about 80% of the time I'm in my car, (a Miata Convertible), and these speakers, as well as the Punch Pro 8" sub just keep taking the abuse like it's nothing. I've only blown 2 PPS4-6 speakers in about 3 years, and both times, while I was in the process of replacing them, went through about a dozen locally available speakers that were "supposed" to be comparable, most didn't last more than a day or two.
