Terrible quality control at rocket required me to open up the coffee maker and repair two torn hoses. Right out of the box! Seattle coffee did little to help. They offered to send me the replacement hoses, but they sent the wrong size and it arrived a month late. I bought a foot or surgical hose for $.12 a foot and fixed the sloppy assembly work. I should have returned the machine. The experience very has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Look elsewhere! ... show more

Overall it's a decent machine. Everything functions as it should. PID controls the temperature well. Timer has a very nice led screen. Vibration pump is nice and quiet. It pulls a nice shot of espresso. I'm still trying to get used to the steam wand, it produces a strong stream of steam. Very good looking machine. Now the bad. Very bad quality of workmanship and quality control. Front part of the chassis is welded on. And, the welder needs to be not working at Rocket. It was welded not straight and left a huge extra piece of weld at the joint where the water tray rest. It's not allowing the tray to rest in its place, so the tray sits crooked. Un exceptable on a $2500 machine. Chrome insert on the hot water valve fell out, missing the O ring keeps it in its place. Whaaat? If I was close and it wasn't such a heavy item. I'd return it. Obviously these people aren't serious about built quality. I don't even want to see what it looks like inside. No, I would not buy it again. Probably get an ECM or Profitec. Not happy with my purchase at all. ... show more
