I never took the time to write this review before, but honestly I was too upset about what happened — and I still am, because it really complicates things. My espresso machine arrived bent, damaged right where the drip tray goes, and it even had a limescale stain when I first opened it, which made it look like it wasn’t new at all. I opened the box long after the purchase, so I realized it too late to return it. Otherwise, I would have definitely asked for a refund for this piece of junk. How does it affect the machine that the tray area is lifted and bent? A lot. You have to empty the water much earlier than normal because it overflows and makes a mess all around. It fills up faster since it’s bent, and on top of that, a Gibraltar glass with a double portafilter doesn’t even fit. Aesthetically, it looks awful. I started using it in July, just once a week, and in August about the same. It wasn’t even heavy use. Now, after only two weeks of consistent daily use — around 40 espresso shots per day for 12 hours (which is honestly very minimal for a machine like this) — it decided to give up completely. The machine stopped working properly, started shooting out excessive amounts of water, and no matter what coffee dose you use, it severely under-extracts. The result is terrible, absolutely unusable. After just two weeks of use, something this wrong should not be happening. What a shame! I do not recommend buying this machine on Amazon, at least not from this seller. Do yourself a favor and find a trusted seller in your city instead.

Amazing. The quality is great, I am so glad we didn't go with a cheaper machine. This thing is a little more expensive than other brands, but 1. It is heavy duty 2. It still saves money over going out and buying a latte or cappucino. This machine is great and I highly recommend it!

First, I don't have this machine. However, Rocket is an established company and has produced reliable machines for years. This model is accurately priced and is not any different from other comparable E-61 espresso machines. (so, no, it is not overpriced). my main point is why purchase this on Amazon when every distributer offers not only free shipping, a warrantee , But most important, post sales service and advise?
