My living room is small and was pleased to find this recliner with the smallest footprint demand (more on that later). Even so, the recliner came with several modern design features such as dual cup holders, a full-body featured massage and heat system, 3 recliner positions and ease of engaging and retracting recliner position, with the added feature of the rocker allowing a tilt-forward position for lift-out ease. Update: more use of standing up from chair can be challenging. Having a means to lock the chair from movement would make standing up much easier. The swivel and rocker feature is smooth and pleasing to simply sit and enjoy rocking with the added comfort of the rock having a slight glide feel to it, requiring very little foot movement. The chair came shipped in two boxes, one being the armrests and the other being the rest of the chair, the heaviest box weighing at a bit over 70lbs. Even so, the box was sturdy and even had four punch-out lift holes to allow easy movement inside. My living room is upstairs so I was thankful for the well-designed modular chair component. This allowed me to open the box downstairs and easily move the component pieces upstairs. As to assembly, each component had durable slide tracks affording simple assembly and only the chair base platform requiring simple screw assembly. The only drawback was the massage remote lettering was very hard to reading (dark font on dark background); however, the buttons are clearly printed on the contained installation instructions and within a few minutes of use, they were easily learned. Not having a USB charging port would have been nice but easily accommodated with a portable power pack. One nice thing I found was that the cup holder dimensions were similar to many car cup holders. On a whim, I ordered a car cup holder tray and was jazzed to find that it fits such that now this chair also supports a swivel tray for eating or tablet/laptop use. Update: added like to car cup holder tray that works well as a TV tray replacement below: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BQHQWMJS As mentioned above, my living room has limited space for seating and I ordered this low footprint chair to see if I liked it and am so pleased with it, I've ordered another one to add another comfortable chair to the room. Finally, I posted an inquiry to the seller and was pleased at the prompt response to resolve this issue. Update 3/1/2025 // This is the 3rd purchase of the same recliner and wanted to note the design changes from the 1st one I purchased. The 1st one's armrests were part of the base sides and the recliner release is similar to a rip cord puller. The latest one's armrests are separate and the recliner release is a pull-out handle. Other than that, they operate and feel the same. The 1st one came in two boxes, which cost more to ship. While making the armrests detachable, they were able to stuff them underneath the base; eliminating the need for 2 boxes. The assembly instructions, while illustrative enough, contain very little written instructions. Also, the labeling of the component armrest are shown having "E" and "F" stickers on the instructions but actually have "L" and "R", presumably meaning Left & Right, they attached using a zipper on one side and Velcro strip on the other. Since there was no identifying label on the side panels, it was not immediately obvious if Left & Right was as one is facing the chair or sitting in it. Just to clarify, it is as if you are sitting in the chair. Also, the easiest way to attach the zipper is to have the armrest positioned with its bottom side up, then complete the zippering process and then fold the armrest tightly over base panel and attach the Velcro strip to the base panel. //

I would challenge whoever said they put this together in 10 minutes to do it again on video! Took at least 1/2 hr to unpack and another 1 1/2 hours to assemble. It was not easy. The plus side - it’s pretty good quality for the price, looks good, was well packaged and directions easy enough to follow. It did require two people for some steps and most steps were challenging for an older adult woman. Most people might give up. I’d like to add that the material covering the arm frames was EXTREMELY tight and lacked at least an inch in width of being zipped up. I stretched and pulled, tugged and stretched until I was finally able to zip the cover closed. It took at least 20 minutes on each arm to get the fit just right. So, 10 minutes to assemble?????? Surely you jest!!

Man, I remember the days when buying a new chair meant a whole trip to a furniture store, haggling over prices, and then paying a fortune for delivery. What a hassle! I’m so glad those days are over. I decided to take a chance on this recliner from Amazon for my TV room since my old one was pretty much done for, and I’ve got zero regrets. Right out of the box, it was pretty straightforward to put together nothing it took me about five minutes to assemble with no screw or hardware needed I’ve only had it for about a week so far, but it’s already my favorite spot in the house. It’s seriously comfy and nicely padded without feeling too bulky. The recline and glide are smooth, and I love having the massage and heat features for those nights when I just want to totally zone out. For the price, it feels like a way better deal than anything I’ve seen at the big-box stores. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, feature-packed chair without the showroom markup

They're not bad chairs but having ordered chairs in the past we were expecting to see two boxes show up for each chair. Take the two pieces and click them together. No not even close. Everything is in one box and you have to put the metal arms together then struggle to get the arm covers on. Unless you have a certain amount of mechanical aptitude I would suggest a different model of chair. We would give it maybe a 7 out of 10 as far as difficulty.

Perfect chair for nursing! I love this chair! You can rock, swivel, recline sitting up or recline laying almost flat. Pockets on both sides and a heat/massage factor. Only downside is the massage is like a light tapping not an actual massage. It’s still a great chair I would give it a 4.5 only taking off for the massage not being a true massage.
