It’s been great so far. The setup was much easier than I expected. Anthbot walks you through creating your first map step by step. Once the map was finished, the mower navigated my yard confidently and did a great job staying within the boundaries. The cutting performance has been excellent. It leaves a clean, even cut, handles multiple zones well, and does a nice job working around obstacles without constantly getting stuck. I also appreciate how quiet it is, so it can mow without being disruptive. I was initially worried about the RTK vision and tree coverage impacting its performance, but so far it has run perfectly each time and I have not had to rescue it. There are a ton of different settings to set to best meet the needs of your lawn. For the price of the product, I would definitely recommend.

I’m new to robotic lawn mowers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The ANTHBOT Genie 3000E was surprisingly easy to set up, mapped my yard accurately, and has consistently provided a clean, even cut. I’ve been especially impressed with how well it navigates the yard, handles different areas on its own, and returns to the charging station without any issues. The app is straightforward, and I like being able to adjust the mowing schedule without having to mess with the mower itself. It’s also much quieter than I expected. After using it, I can definitely see the advantage of a robotic mower. My lawn stays consistently maintained with very little effort on my part. I’m very happy with the 3000E and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

*** 1-1/2 YEAR UPDATE *** After owning the Anthbot Genie 3000 for not quite a year and a half now, unfortunately my opinion of it has changed. It had its minor issues from the start (as mentioned below), but the mower still did a decent job for the most part through its first mowing season last year. This year has been a whole different story. In only one year, the battery performance has degraded severely. Last year I could mow 1/3 of my lawn on a full charge with some to spare. This year it takes 4-5 charges to finally get the same 1/3 cut. Also, the mower leaves strips of uncut grass all over the lawn. The strips vary from about 6" to about 24" wide from one end of the lawn to the other. It's random too. It will leave the strips in different parts of the lawn every time. I'm having to get out my push mower after the Anthbot mows every time now to cut the areas it skips over, which totally defeats the purpose of having a robotic mower. The Genie also acts confused 99% of the time now. It will start mowing then randomly stop in the open lawn with no obstacles anywhere near it and start turning in circles in one spot. Sometimes 2 or 3 circles before going off in the opposite direction than it had been going, sometimes dozens of circles. It has become more of a hassle than anything. What started out as a time saver has quickly become more of a waste of time, energy, and money than what it's worth. I paid $1600 before tax for the mower last year. No garage, no accessories. Now the same mower costs half that and includes the garage. There's a reason for that. Anthbot is well aware that their products have major issues and serious design and performance flaws. I could have hired a professional lawn service to keep my entire lawn perfectly manicured (including trimming and edging) for a year for the same amount I wasted on an Anthbot mower that ended up being a 40lb yard ornament within the first year. The only thing it does a good job of now is causing me a great deal of frustration and regret for purchasing an Anthbot product. I'm currently researching more reliable brands of robotic mowers because I still love the idea, but I'm going to find a brand that makes a product that actually works for more than a year and doesn't rob their customers blind to get their product launched when they know it's far from being ready for customers. I will not buy another Anthbot product. They make false claims about their insanely overpriced, poorly performing, barely functioning products. Original Review: Let me start by saying that I LOVE this mower! Is it perfect? Nope. Is it awesome? Yes! Am I glad I bought it? Oh yeah! Why 3 stars: 1) I have had some minor issues with the Genie 3000. When installing the RTK antenna post in the hard ground, I was holding the post close to where the two poles connect to guide it while using my foot to push the spikes into the earth. I must have gotten out of alignment slightly because all of the sudden the pole snapped off at the bottom just above the spikes. It was a clean break so there wasn't enough metal left to repair it. I ended up using a 3' piece of galvanized electrical conduit slightly smaller in diameter than the antenna pole to mount it without the spikes. I removed the antenna wire and inserted the conduit into the antenna pole until it stopped where the two poles connect and traced the oval cutout at the base of the pole onto the conduit with a marker. I removed the conduit and drilled out the slot I had marked. This was necessary for the wire to pass through. I drove the conduit into the ground about a foot or so then slid the antenna pole over it and ran the wire back through both metal pipes and through the holes at the base. Connected it to the base and everything worked great. It's actually much more stable this way than it was with the spikes it came with. It all worked out fine, but the pole could have been made stronger at the base where the spikes connect. 2) I have my lawn sectioned out in 3 mowing zones. My back yard is fenced in so I have to open a gate for the mower to pass through to get to the other zones. Even with the gate wide open, the mower will go straight to the opening then stop a few inches from it and refuse to go through it from one zone to the other. It acts like there is something in the way when it's actually wide open. It tries and tries but just won't go through the open gate so I have to manually drive it through the gate. Once it's through it has no problem finding its way back to the base, usually... 3) Last week the mower had finished mowing the back yard and was returning to the base to recharge. The base is also in the back yard. About 30' from the base, the mower suddenly got very confused and started driving in circles as if it was lost. I watched it do this for several minutes until finally taking over and manually driving it onto the base via the app. Not sure what happened, but there were no obstacles blocking its path and GPS signals showed to be strong. It hasn't happened again since. Just a glitch I guess. Not that big of a deal since I was nearby and could help it find its way. 4) I messaged Anthbot Online Support through their app about issues 2 and 3 but the only response I got both times was an auto-reply saying that support was offline and to leave a message and they would respond within 24 hours. That was over a week ago and I still haven't received a response so their support (via their app anyway) appears to be non-existent which is a bit unsettling. I have read other reviews saying their phone support was good, so hopefully that's the case if I ever find myself needing support for anything more significant. Now for the Good: I get hot easily and it takes me a long time to cool off. I'm always soaked in sweat after mowing in the summer months. For years I have researched robotic mowers but the technology simply was not to the point where I felt comfortable spending thousands of dollars on a so-so machine that produced questionable results and required a boundary wire around my entire property. I knew it would only be a matter of time before these mowers improved dramatically. This was the year. I came across the Anthbot Genie this time, which I had not seen previously when looking into automatic mowers. It checked all of the boxes for me so I took a chance and bought one. No boundary wires, it has GPS, RTK backup and 4G connectivity. Adjustable mowing height, obstacle detection, and impressive slope climbing capability. Anti-theft protection, mows in lines instead of randomly, and it's waterproof. I have a mix of tall fescue, Bermuda, and patches of weeds like clover and crabgrass. This mower handles them all without any struggle whatsoever. This mower cuts laser straight lines. It's quiet, has a bright LED headlight, and just gets the job done. I have pretty steep ditches surrounding my lawn on two sides. It handles one without any issues. It's quite impressive how this mower climbs such steep hills with ease. I don't allow the mower to go all the way down the other ditch because the laws of physics won't allow any mower (or anything else for that matter) to operate on certain parts of it without sliding down the extremely steep inclines. My weekends used to be spent mowing the lawn, showering, then recovering in the air conditioning. Not anymore! That's Genie's job now. All I have to do is weedeat the spots the mower can't get and finish the steep ditch. I can spend weekends with my family now. That's huge. While there have been a few minor bugs with this mower and Online Support is questionable, I LOVE THIS MOWER and absolutely recommend it! No more time spent mowing. No more getting overheated in the summer. Just a neatly cut lawn all of the time! This thing is so cool. Oh, and people driving by will stop, back up, and stare while the mower does its thing.

Where to start. I will try to capture my observations. 1. Very easy setup. Just unbox, set up RTK and charging pad and pick a clear spot where the RTK can see the sky clearly. 2. Using your phone, drive the mower around the outline of your yard. THAT’S IT! Mower cuts ok. Will take a couple cuts if you have not cut your yard. Will take 2 passes to hit everything. If you just do one pass some spots may not cut to your liking ( personal taste). It comes with a free year of 4g service but what I’m seeing is network seems to stay busy and will not connect consistently. It will also connect to your WiFi but even that’s spotty sometimes(not my WiFi signal). I was on the fence for a while and settled for the Anthbot 3000 because it met my needs. It cuts the designs in my yard that I like and now all I have to do is edge. This mower has saved me money and will pay for itself this summer it takes a while to cut but hey, it’s not me. I would definitely recommend and if something for some reason was to happen, I would repurchase.

I spend a lot of time cutting my yard 2x a week and have recently gotten into the robot mower scene to get more of my time back. This took sometime setting up and mapping and updating but once it got going it’s been great. I really like that it has 6 blades and can do a large backyard for the price. I have a different brand one that does my front yard and this one’s battery is easily 2x as long for half the price. It’s near silent and was easy to setup and do the automapping in my fenced in backyard. Really can’t beat the price for how big of an area it’s cutting and I can run it everyday!

The mower works great!! I had to give 3 stars because the initial mapping of the yard, in the app was tricky and if you want to view the map or make adjustments, good luck. You can't see it. I have reached out to customer service about the issue and their response was to be sure I have the most updated version of the app. I do, thanks. They weren't very helpful.

This product makes me happy. Thats a cool thing to say. Not only is it practical, but its really fun to own. I love to look out and see it hard at work for me, carefully mowing manicured lines automatically while I focus on other tasks or relax. When it was 100 degrees this summer I was REALLY thankful. I dont mind mowing at all. But it is an inconvenience to take that full hour, and then need a shower after, when i have a busy Dad life. I figured - over the next 3 years, I get to have a manicured lawn (auto-mowed every ~4 days), and it basically cost me $10 per week. I'd gladly pay $10 to hire someone to do my lawn. The Quality? The quality is great. They really engineered some incredibly impressive software to make this app intuitive, and make the mowing SMART and as complete and clean as possible. The EDGE mowing feature, the zones, the straight lines, the AUTO mapping, the pathway mapping, it all just works so brilliantly. This is really top level software engineering. The RTK base placement wasn't a problem for me. The only downsides are the edge trimming on the parts of the grass that go up against a raised edge, the mower can't get the edge so i need to weedwack that. I tried the Genie 600 and that was great, but the lack of 4g made the connection incredibly spotty. It would MOW just fine all the time, but I couldn't see the mower on the app while it worked, and i couldnt make quick changes and pauses in the work - such as telling it to stop what it was doing and work on edging - because the connection wasn't good out in my yard. The 4g offered by the 1000 model would have been all I need. And the larger battery in the 1000/3000 is a beautiful luxury, but not necessary if thats too much to spend. It just makes the job completed in half the time, since it cuts out the recharge time. Fun note: I divided my back yard into 5 different equal zones - and I alternated the mowing direction 45* and 135* to create a cool \\\\////\\\\//// pattern on my lawn. I alternate the mowing directions regularly to keep the grass healthy. I really really love having this robot mower, it brings me joy. I almost look forward to the lawn getting a bit long so I can tell it to start mowing from my phone.

I purchased this item in 2025. Due to injury, I could no longer cut my own grass. I got tired of the high fees of a local landscaper. This mower has more than paid for itself in the 2 summers. After the initial set up, it has run virtually worry free. I like that when rain is detected it returns to its home base. The robot attracts a lot of attention in the neighborhood and I have convinced at least one other person to purchase.
