  • Anthbot Genie 600 Blows Away the Competition – Best Value in Wire-Free Robot Mowers Anthbot Genie 600 Blows Away the Competition – Best Value in Wire-Free Robot Mowers
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
After testing three robot lawn mowers head-to-head over 10 days, the Anthbot Genie 600 came out as the clear winner. I also tried the Segway Navimow i105N and the Yuka Mini 500H, and while both had interesting features, they just couldn’t compete when it came to reliability, ease of use, and cut quality. Anthbot Genie 600 (“Mowena”) needed rescue only twice—and one of those times was my fault due to vision settings. In contrast, the Yuka got stuck over 19 times, and the Navimow had repeated mapping problems and artificial mowing limits. Anthbot allowed me to easily map my yard (and even two neighbors’ yards!) without forcing me to stay within a hard acreage limit like the other two. The cutting lines with the Anthbot looked cleaner too—it has a slightly wider cutting disc and much smarter navigation. The mapping app was intuitive, and I loved that it let me manage multiple zones without any drama. It even handled slopes and tricky terrain without spinning out or freezing. I really wanted to like the Yuka, especially since it offers an optional clipping collection system (which is rare!). But its frequent rescues and lost maps made it frustrating to use. The Navimow had a sleek app and good obstacle detection, but it felt more limiting in real-world use due to its strict area cap and zone restrictions. For a robot mower that worked nearly flawlessly, even across three different yards, the Anthbot Genie 600 is an unbeatable value—especially at the $599 Prime Day deal. If you’re looking for a smart, flexible, and low-maintenance lawn care solution, this is the one to get. ... show more

  • Disappointed with ANTHBOT 600 – Falls Short of Promises Disappointed with ANTHBOT 600 – Falls Short of Promises
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
I had high hopes for the ANTHBOT 600, but unfortunately, it has been a frustrating experience from the start. Despite being brand new and following all setup instructions carefully, the unit has consistently underperformed. The manual promises 60 minutes of mowing time after a 90-minute charge, yet my fully charged ANTHBOT 600 runs only 20–24 minutes—on a flat, obstacle-free lawn. This is far below expectations and makes the product unusable for anything beyond a very small patch of grass. Another major flaw is in the Wi-Fi and logging system. It’s understandable for a lawn robot to lose Wi-Fi coverage outdoors. But why isn’t it designed to store log data and sync it later when back online? This is basic functionality missing from a so-called smart device. The Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable too—it disconnects frequently, even when I’m standing near the robot. This makes manual intervention or troubleshooting a hassle every single time. Lastly, while the mowing itself is generally fine, it leaves visible patches and the automapping feature skips areas. I’m hoping this will improve with multiple runs, but it certainly shouldn’t be the case out of the box for a premium product. In summary, the ANTHBOT 600 feels unfinished and unreliable, and at this point, I’m seriously questioning the value for money. Until these basic issues are resolved, I can’t recommend it. ... show more

  • Great machine and invention that truly improves our life!
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
Great value for such an amazing Mow robot! Easy to setup the RTK and charging station. Very long power cord so even I chose a spot far away from house structure it still reaches power outlet, worry free to connect from the station to the house outdoor electric outlet. Super user-friendly App to draw yard map, draw forbidden area, define zones etc. The App makes it simple to command the mowing pattern/plan, works exactly as described and no wiring hassle. Once setup completes, this machine started working tirelessly, most amazingly it works even in the dark. Apparently it just requires battery, GPS and RTK signal, then a complete hands-free robot for the lawn. It cuts quietly, can handle terrain in my yard, not very fast but stead and safe speed. It frees me from laborious mowing work on the weekends, which is a precious two-hour life back to spend on relaxing and recharging and exploring other fun things! ... show more

  • Excellent Wireless boundary robotic mower that is easy to setup and cost efficient. Excellent Wireless boundary robotic mower that is easy to setup and cost efficient.
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
The Anthbot Genie 600 was purchased to replace my old Worx Landroid S WR165 boundary wired unit. The Landroid was a terrible setup because our dogs would accidentally break the boundary wire and it was a pain trying to find the break and repair it. Also the Landroid only mowed in a random pattern and left patches of grass all over the yard and it took several days to complete the mowing job. Now the Anthbot Genie 600 was so easy to setup and get to running. It completed the backyard within a couple of hours where the Landroid took days. The Anthbot Genie 600 is wireless and goes off of GPS and blue tooth to manage zones for cutting. I made two zones front and backyard and it worked liked a champ. The Genie 600 cutted the grass in an uniform pattern and not randomly. I am looking forward to many years of service by the Genie 600 mower like I had from the Worx Landroid. This Genie 600 is definitely a highly recommended purchase! ... show more

  • Automated hands-off scheduled mowing IS possible, after working out these kinks first!
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
This mower is super easy to set up and get running, it's true! But to achieve truly reliable hands-off automation, you may need to try different things over a period of time. Allow yourself to patiently work through this process and you will get there. Here are my tips after working out the kinks and achieving the magic of unsupervised automated mowing: 1. Hardware location is very important - the RTK module MUST have a (mostly) clear view of the sky, the charging station MUST be within good range of your wifi (unless your model has a cellular backup), and unless you buy the RTK wall mount or extension cable, those two criteria must fit the same physical space because there is no extra cable to separate them. It may be hard to satisfy these two criteria in one place, so give this some careful thought. 2. Use manual control of the mower to map out your no-go zones like trees, dangerous terrain, steep slopes, etc. so that the mower can efficiently plan around them instead of discovering them on each run and avoiding them on the fly each time, which costs mowing time. 3. Although it is good to mow grass in the morning, schedule your runs late enough for all dew to dry before mowing. Mowing dewy grass just cakes the entire underside with sticky grass clippings and caused my mower to have issues charging until later in the day. Waiting until the dew dries has resolved my charging issues. 4. Having a level charging station is important. Sometimes I found even a slight slope can cause the mower to fall towards gravity after it docks. I dug away some dirt to allow the station to sit level and no longer have issues. 5. If you do run into any issues, reach out to [email protected] and hope that your issue is worked by Saga because she's a rock star. By far she and the team provided the best product support I've ever experienced, which really goes a long way towards making me feel good about my purchase and knowing they will help me if I run into any issues. My yard is now being mowed on a schedule each week with no intervention. It's even fun and satisfying to watch. I still need to trim the edges myself, but that is only a fraction of the time and effort I was spending on mowing before. This mower has given me hours of my life back each week, and I'm very grateful for that. ... show more

  • Unstable WiFi connection. Cut grass still too high though with set at 30mm Unstable WiFi connection. Cut grass still too high though with set at 30mm
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
Apps ANTHBOT scan the device and set up properly. The signal disc took a long time before getting a solid green led. But the WiFi connection is not stable. I can access 2.4G WiFi in my whole yard but the device is not connected properly. I can’t upload my map after manually walking through the robot. The device can’t connect and I can’t get online status. My yard is about 4000 sq ft. The robot has not completed it after two days of starting manually. But it did know to get back to the base station. The cutting lines are consistent. Looks good. But the job is not done yet. Giving it another chance of software update with the help of customer support, I also need to cut the high grasses manually with my mower. The robot cuts a parallel straight line. But a few key major set backs. 1. It does not cut the grasses low. I need to run it a couple times. When the mower moves, it actually pushes down the grasses flat that when the blades run across, they may not be able to cut the flat laying grasses. You can see it in my video. 2. The WiFi signal on mower shows good but in fact, its reception could be bad that it failed uploading the map or software upgrading. I had to bring it close to my router. My base station is about 30 ft away from the router. My mobile phone has no problem accessing the 2.4G WiFi at my 4000 sq ft yard, but not this mower. I had to bring it close to the router for software upgrade before I can do anything. 3. Battery runs low in about an hour only. It needs charging a few times to cut my 4000 sq yard. It took a whole day! But the good thing is that all were done automatically. It knows when to go back charging and continued to mowing after fully charged. 4. I would need to build a shelter for it to avoid rain/water damage. And that place needs to have AC power too. It will be ideal if the mower is weather proof so that I do not need to carry it to the garage after usage. Overall, it is just ok for the money. Has a lot of room for improvement. Need much time to set up properly. Hope that it can save some mowing time. Will evaluate again after months. ... show more

  • 2.4 ghz only, and fails that. 2.4 ghz only, and fails that.
Size: Genie 0.22 Acre Style: Genie 0.22 Acre
This is the most frustrating thing I own. Worked fine for a while, then dropped network. Router is 2.4 and 5 ghz. It won't connect to 2.4 side, other things connect fine. Bought an extender that was 2.4 ghz only and that worked for awhile. Continually says gps has moved when it is secured. The only way to get it to work is to get close enough for bluetooth to connect. It does a decent job mowing, but I need a robot to work without me standing there every time to start it. The collision avoidance could use some tweaks as evident in the photos. All this should be easily fixed by updates, but none have helped. It was automatic updates when connected. I've had to factory reset 3 times to get it to work for a while. Yard is small 100ish ft2, flat, and devoid of many objects. It has to charge 3 times to cut it. Golf shown in last photo for scale. ... show more
