I do not own an RV, which needs wheel blocks, but if I did, then these would be my pick. - Each chock is 6" wide and weight a couple pounds. - It is 4' 2" from inside to inside chock, if stretched out. - It is 5' 3" from outside to outside chock, if stretched out. - Highly visible, due to the large reflective bands on each one. - The rope is high quality, and the construction guarantees that they will not fall apart. I am going to be using these as wheel blocks when working on cars. I am always working on cars (mine and others), and have been using 2x4" blocks for over 50 years now. Yikes! When lifting a vehicle in the air, you must block the wheels that are on the ground, so you do not have a possible fatal accident. These are going to work. I would prefer that they each stretched wheel to wheel. On my Jeep these will do it. So I can block up to 3 wheels on a vehicle like this. On my Lexus, they will also work (left to right, and front to back), so great. On a X3 SUV, they will not stretch all the way left to right or back to back, so I have to use both sets when blocking. No problem. The blocks are sticky rubber so they seem to resist sliding on the ground. They are heavy so I don't think they will move. Those are important things, so we will see how they work when I rotate the tires on the Jeep next month.

these are heavy and fall into place easily. they may be a little small for large truck or tractor tires, but for most home mechanics, rv or hobbyist these will last a lifetime they are heavy and take up more space than the little plastic shells many get, but when I'm under a coulpe tons of metal I feel a lot better with something this sturdy securing it

These are handy little chocks that take up very little space to store, but they’re heavy duty and really protect our midsize camper from moving. They take up a lot less space than the other curved block chocks.

They seem so much more stable than the plastic yellow basic chocks.. but a little heavier than I would like. Not that bad, like 11 lbs all together but when you are trying to keep your trailer as light as possible, I hope I don't have to add more weight ever. So just 4 stars due to being heavy.. nothing against them, and if you have a biga** truck it won't matter.

Mainly I will use these when I'm changing a tire or have the front of the car up on ramps, things like that. They are heavy solid rubber chocks. connected by a sturdy rope so you'll always have a pair, one for each side of the tire. That makes them easy to keep up with, just hang them over a hood, nail, shelf, etc.
