  • Love this product
First time airbrushing and I watched like 2 hours of YouTube videos before I decided to even up this up. I spent the entire weekend messing with it and its such an amazing product. I made all the mistakes that you can make and learned a lot because of it. Once you spend some time with it, it becomes really easy to use. One of the mistakes I made was the paint cup top, keep that off while airbrushing, as it restricts airflow when using it. I guess that is just there when not in use in case there is an accident the paint wont fall out. Adjust the PSI with the knob. Make sure you use a thinner or even water to dilute the paint. Always make sure you clean it after each use. Would definitely recommend this product. I hope to get a lot of use out of it. ... show more

  • Overall unsatisfied. Not for beginners.
I had zero ideas on how to even use an airbrush so when this advertised as a great kit for beginners, I was all on board. However, it really is not. 1. A whole airbrush was missing from my kit. Luckily it wasn't one I wanted to use however that's product that was owed to me. I contacted Amazon and they never got back to me. 2. Barely any instructions. Again, I have no idea how to use this thing. It had a booklet on what was in it and cleaning tips, but not actual instructions. I did not know how to assemble any of the brushes, how to dissemble anythying to clean it. It took me a good couple of house just to get the brushes to spray! 3. The brushes clog CONSTANTLY. I was using ProAir hybrid alcohol paints and I would get a good 4 sprays in before it would clog. I was shaking the paints CONSTANTLY, dip the tip in alcohol to break up the clog. The whole process was just exhausting. Sometimes it wouldn't even spray the cleaner even when there wasn't a clog. It was so annoying. 4. The bottom feeder bottle kept on falling off the airbrush in use. Did I put it on wrong? I won't know because there are no instructions!!! I googled images and it looked like i had it on right. That's all I had to go on for this. I would not suggest this kit for beginners. It's too aggravating with no instructions. ... show more

  • AWESOMEEEEEE and great for the novice! I was painting in 5 min!!
This thing is GREAT. Now, this is a day-one review from someone who has never touched an airbrush before. I do a variety of hobbies and most of them require painting. I got pretty good with acrylic paints and small brushes, but I've always wanted to use a medium that doesn't result in brush strokes. I like using spray paint for this reason on larger projects, but smaller projects always proved difficult. Thus began my hunt for an entry-level airbrush kit. This was a birthday present to myself, and it came in on my birthday! I spent about 10 minutes unboxing the kit and looking around at everything. I plugged in the air hose, plugged in the compressor, attached the airbrush stands, and I examined the three airbrushes that came with the kit. I picked one of the pre-assembled fine-point airbrushes, plugged it into the hose, and added about 5 drops of red paint to the cup. As my finger depressed the trigger and slid it backwards slightly, THE PAINT STARTED FLOWING! I was airbrushing! I made a series of dots, lines, scribbles, and I even wrote my name. I tried some feathery, fluffy lines, and some super fine tight lines. I moved my airbrush over to one of my active projects and let the paint flow! Nope, I didn't do so hot and I screwed it all up. No worries, I'll get it all fixed up and ready for my next round of airbrushing. This is something you will need to practice with, and I look forward to playing with it. The compressor is super quiet (it can wobble around the table a little if it isn't sitting flat). This kit is super easy to setup and use. It works great. A couple notes. The paint is water-based and ready to spray. HOWEVER, be aware of what you are painting on if you expect vibrant colors. One of my projects was primed grey, and the airbrushed paint looks dull and semi-transparent. I may have to give it 5 or 10 coats to build up a comparable level of coverage as brush-based acrylic painting. OR, just prime your surface WHITE instead, and that should help the vibrancy of the paints. Cleanup took 2 minutes. I used the included brush cleaner, which worked fine, but I also used warm water since this is all water based paints. I also bought this cleaning pot, which worked like a charm! I would highly recommend this, as you need to spray a good amount of cleaner or water through the brush to make sure everything is out. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08XZT4V3C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details This kit was $150 and came with a ton of stuff. I think this is fantastic! I can't wait to try out all the brushes, paint colors, compressor PSI settings, etc. Well worth the money. Only time will tell if it will hold up. I'm not a full-time artist or airbrusher. If I use this a couple times per month, or a few hours per month, that's probably a lot for me. We shall see. I'm super excited that it arrived and works as advertised! :-) ... show more

  • great kit for all levels of air brushing
what a kit...i bought this to brush up my air brushing skills, after using iwata and badger air brushes for over 3 years now, i can say the air brushes that came with this kit are almost as good as expensive air brushes from other brands.. the compressor is not 100% quite but its not loud at all and can be used in the house without waking up sleeping people.it is easy to set up and put together.. i did not get the cleaning brushes set with the kit but no big deal... just make sure you clean the air brushes well after use and to keep the paint in a well cooled area other wise it will dry up and clog within the bottle ... all in all.. very happy with this kit.. ... show more

  • Great value and so much fun.
I jumped right into airbrushing 3d prints with this setup. Make sure to get a cleaning setup also when buying this because you will need it. The documentation and presentation of this kit was real nice. So far everything seems pretty durable. I wish there were more detailed instructions on how each airbrush can be adjusted because I got in a mess with the brushes pretty quickly when trying to figure it out. The beginner guide could be a little more detailed but I eventually figured out how to get paint to spray out haha. ... show more

  • Airbush broke on the scond use...
I was so looking forward to test this ! Had to return the first order because items were missing from the pack. It took a week to get the refund so I can re order. And again items were missing ( the cleaning brushes.. so annoying to re return again so I kept it and bought brushes on the side). Anyway I used G22 and G25 brushes twice. And G22 broke on the second time. Paint was not coming out, so refering to the manual I decided to unscrew the nose cover to expose the nozzle chuck. With the mini wrench provided I started to gently unscrew it.... and the metal just broke. The screw broke in its socket. So the airbrush is now dead. Pretty disappointed. I did not expect high quality for that price but at least a descent fabrication. I will keep the pack for the compressor but now I can not paint as I need to pay for a new brush. ... show more
