Description

Built for pro contractors, fine finishers, handypeople, and extreme DIYers, the Titan Impact X 440 delivers professional 3300 PSI performance in two configurations, so you can choose the setup that fits your workflow. The Skid, at just 30 lbs, is lightweight and easy to carry, ideal for interior jobs, tight spaces, stairs, and moving room to room. The High Rider, at 54 lbs, rolls on a wheeled cart for added stability and mobility, a great fit for exterior work, larger surfaces, and rolling between work areas instead of lifting and carrying. Great for staining fences and decks as well as full contractor workloads, this paint machine keeps up no matter what's on the schedule. Made in the USA with global components, Titan builds the Impact X 440 with the same reliability and ingenuity contractors have trusted since 1974. The Sureflo Pusher Valve releases a stuck lower ball valve with the push of a button, no hammer required. The No-Spill Pump Filter cleans up to 3x faster while using as little as 1/3 the water, and Rapid Clean speeds up flushing and end-of-day clean-up, so you spend less time on upkeep and more time on the job. A 360 degree adjustable ergonomic handle offers a comfortable grip for portability and precision, and a lever-action Prime/Spray Valve provides gradual, even pressure release to help eliminate splashback and keep your work area cleaner. Pair with a Titan HEA low pressure tip to significantly reduce overspray, meaning less wasted paint, lower costs, and a cleaner jobsite. From full exterior repaints to interior fine finish applications, this sprayer is engineered to be the reliable workhorse you can count on for an efficient job and a smooth, professional finish.

  • A good buy
First and foremost - we are not commercial painters. I am sure there will be TONS of reviews for this sprayer by true professionals so I will let them talk the "tech". I guess my contribution can be to speak to the weekend warriors or the "I have a big project" guys. With the COVID-19 pandemic in full spread, we had to empty out our office and let people work from home. So, we decided you should never let a good crisis for to waste. Having everyone out of the office made this the perfect time to re-fresh the office space with new paint and carpet. With no one to bother, we had the place to ourselves. Our space is about 12,000 sq ft of office space and 12,000 sq ft of warehouse space. I decided to hire a few of my son's (who is 16) friends and give them a good summer job. They started the project in mid May and ended (hopefully) the first week of August. So, this was a BIG project for us and we needed a lot of tools. We would have gone with a professional paint crew but I was worried about cost and figured we had the time to do it ourselves. We purchased a lot of equipment including this Titan sprayer after a lot of research and a budget that I wanted to be under $1000 (which I ended up spending a bit more - but close). We ended up using the Titan sprayer to spray enamel on doors - 47 of them. (both doors and frames). My son watched some YouTube videos of the Idaho Painter and figured out how to work the sprayer and after a bit of practice is now a dam good painter with it. He and his friends would prime areas one day then tape them off and spray enamel the next. The sprayer has had no issues and is quiet - I have been on conference calls while they were spraying in the hall. We ended up using a 4 wheel cart that we put the sprayer and paint (5 gallon buckets) on. It worked great for us. We were very glad we had the 50 ft hose - the length was needed way more than I thought it would be. The sprayer does make a mess - so you will need to put down a lot of drop cloths if you want to keep paint off of stuff. It also makes a mist so ventilation is key - the boys used respirators which were IMPOSSIBLE to find during the pandemic. We bought this kit version of the Sprayer and I am glad we did - we have used all of it. It was priced far better than any other offer we could find. It was delivered on time and we have been very please with it. We did end up buying a "better" gun handle. It has made a big difference (I think it is the FX - red handle model). The trigger is much softer and allows better volume control (vs just on / off). The clean-up is involved and with a 50 ft hose you end up wasting paint/primer - so this is not for quick "light" jobs. use your bottle-fed Wagner power painter - or something like that if you have a chair to paint (etc). But if you have a big job this is a workhorse - does not clog - and will deliver a very nice finish. ... show more

  • Great for DIY Projects – With a Learning Curve
Set name: Impact X 440 Skid
I picked up this paint sprayer for painting our whole house after remodeling, and overall, it did the job well! Once I got the hang of it, it saved me a ton of time compared to using a brush or roller. The spray was even, and the finish looked professional, especially on hard-to-reach corners and door trim. That said, there is a learning curve. You need to watch your paint levels, or it clogs easily or gets air bubbles. The first time I used it, I spent more time cleaning it out than actually painting. Speaking of cleaning — it’s really easy if you have two 5-gallon buckets, one to spray into and the other to hold water or paint thinner (depending on the paint used). There are a few small parts, so make sure to set aside time after each use to clean everything thoroughly. The instructions could be clearer, but there are plenty of YouTube videos that helped me figure things out. Overall, it's a solid paint sprayer for DIYers or professional users. Just be patient at the start and follow the prep and cleanup steps carefully. ... show more

I really like the sprayer, I was spraying with a Graco 390 only 14 months old and it broke down it’s under warranty but will take a month to repair so I bought the titan 440 and it seems to be a lot better than the Graco

  • Sprayer review
Set name: Impact X 440 Skid
I got this sprayer because I love the titan brand . I was very excited to have a smaller model that had the same amount of power. So I was super disappointed when it did not work out. Constantly losing pressure. Definitely does not feel like the other 440.It has lack of strength .I can't use it as my main sprayer. Just doesn't Operate appropriately to do anything Like a wall .it can really only do small stuff. I would not suggest buying this over the other Titan. Or at all .I was very disappointed and I wish I could get my money back Or the old model. ... show more
