I have purchased about 6 separate rolling pan paint kits, just needed brushes. These are great and wash out easy. No fraying so far, painted 8 window sills and frames. Worth the money. Apply paint great.

This may be the 3rd time I've purchased these and I'll be getting them again. The guys that work for me are allergic to cleaning their brushes when done. Especially if they're using oil. These paint and clean just the same as a Purdy but for a fraction of the cost of just one of those brushes. I pay $20 a piece for this quality of brush at Home Depot or Lowes. bought this 6-pack of Bates paint brushes for a few projects around the house. The handles are definitely the highlight, they are beautifully crafted, well-made, and the treated wood feels great in hand. However, the bristles are just okay. They do shed quite a bit, so they aren't the best, but they aren't the worst either, just right in the middle. For the price, they aren't a bad deal at all, but keep the shedding in mind if you need a flawless finish. ... show more

These paint brushes are perfect for painting with the angle brushes! I bought two packs of these because the brushes that we recently purchased begin falling apart. These brushes held up while I painted my back deck and cleaned well. Definitely worth the money!

I have to say, I was genuinely impressed with this Bates 6-pack paint brush set. When I ordered them, I expected something basic given the low price, but these brushes absolutely exceeded my expectations in both quality and performance. Right out of the package, you can tell these are not cheaply made. The treated wood handles feel solid and comfortable in your hand, giving you a good grip and control whether you’re doing detailed trim work or covering larger areas. They don’t feel flimsy or lightweight like a lot of budget brush sets tend to, which immediately stood out to me. The bristles are another big highlight. They hold paint very well and distribute it evenly, making the application smooth and consistent. I didn’t experience any heavy streaking or uneven coverage, which makes a huge difference when you’re trying to get a clean, professional-looking finish. Even better, there was very minimal shedding.
