When I ordered the lamp I was concerned it might be too tall, it wasn't. I was concerned about the bulb exposure, the lamp is placed next to my bed and when I'm sitting and reading the bulbs are not visible under the shade...3000k led bulbs are included and they are the perfect color temperature for me. The lamp was well packaged and arrived a day early and in perfect condition...and it's really nice looking! I love this lamp! I agree with some other reviewers that it is very tall for a side table but I found some simple 25w LED Edison bulbs for it and it looks wonderful. It is a BIG piece and I was not prepared for the shade being plastic, but, considering the price, it is understandable. It looks just like stained glass anyway and I like that it won't shatter if it gets bumped or we have an earthquake or something. ... show more

    • This is a nice Chinese made lamp.
This is a nice looking lamp. It fits my bedroom very well. This is a large lamp. I did not look at the size before I bought it and was expecting a much smaller lamp. I bought it for my bed side table however it would fit well in a living room. For the price it cant be beat. I should have bought two and I may still buy another one. It seems like an american company could produce a lamp like this and still make a profit. It's a shame that everything is made in china these days and soon because of that all us will be working for $10 an hour. The lamp is well made but be aware that the lamp shade is made of colored plastic with stained glass look however it should hold up well . I have other Chinese made Tiffany style lamps with the colored plastic shades that have held up for several years. Eventually the plastic shade will sag a little bit from my experience. The base is not bronze but some type of bronze colored metal. I still would buy this lamp again because where else are you going to get one. ... show more

The lamp is nice and sturdy, of good construction, and artistic. However, the design of it makes it hard for me to find a spot for it. It has a high lamp shade (meaning it sits really high compared to the bulbs). I really wish it just had one bulb for two reasons-first being the shade could sit lower and hide the bulb better and second being the shade would be lit symmetrically and not brighter on one side because the bulb is on that half. It kind of bugs me that half of the lamp is brighter because the bulb is there. I like things symmetrical. I could not place the lamp where I wanted because the shade is so high that the bright bulb peeks out from underneath and glares at you. I am having a hard time finding a place where sitting on the sofa or chair puts you higher than the lamp shade so you don’t get the glare of the bulb peeking out from underneath the shade. The shade is very pretty and has neutral tones. I will say that it is significantly darker than a fabric shade and tends to mostly throw light down (not up) so as a whole room light it will be somewhat darker. I was surprised by this because it has two lights instead of just one. I thought it would be brighter than the lamp it replaced, but I guess the glass makes it more opaque. It’s not worth returning it-the shopping would be a fortune, so I’ll just keep trying different places. Eventually it will work somewhere. It is a pretty lamp and I wanted to LOVE it, but as of now I’m just liking it “meh”. The GE refresh HD LED bulbs give a nice white light thru the glass. I just used 60 watt (equivalent). ... show more
