Update 10/29/2024: This is an update to my previous review. I could hear back from the seller company soon after they were reached out - thanks to Amazon. The seller addressed my issue promptly in a satisfactory and very nice manner. I appreciate their business, and wish they have more attractive products to customers in the future . --SL --Earlier review: My family bought this roaster oven early last November and used for only a few times. Recently my wife used it for roasting a chicken at 375F but found the viewer window glass of the cover was broken to small pieces at near end of cooking. We have tried to contact the maker but so far it has been unsuccessful - its listed phone #707 xxx 9751 always auto-forwarding the calls to a voice box but it is ALWAYS full, then your call was terminated. We want the company to know that it is still within the warranty time (less than 1 year since purchase), and should address this issue. Highly doubt I would buy this product again with such a situation that its customer service is never unreachable.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had other brand roasters in the past. All of them will lose heat through the cover, or the lid. This one specifically tells you not to lift the lid, and has a glass top to view your meal cooking. As you can see there’s minimal steam coming off the top. The ones I have had in the past Would make the entire room a sauna. I have this on my counter next to my cabinets and as you can see, the only steam droplets of steam water are on the handle right above the window. My cabinets are dry, as is the lid, and it’s been in there for two hours when this video was taken. It’s a 25 pound turkey cooking in there and there’s room to spare. I have The largest model and it says that it will hold a 30 pound turkey. I doubted it until today. And the turkey could be bigger and still fit. If I had any complaint so far, it’s that the light to indicate it is still preheating isn’t very bright. I thought it was broken until I turned the lights out in the kitchen and could see that there was definitely a light. I preheated it for 20 minutes and the light did go out like it was supposed to. But it was hard to see that it was on. Another issue I guess they could improve on is to make the lid fit more securely. It just lays in the groove that is made to hold it but a slight bump could set it off kilter easily and allow heat to escape. When sitting there left alone,It doesn’t seem to affect the temperature of the unit at all, or any heat/steam escaping though.

Bought the 24 qt to have enough room for really large turkeys and whole hams. Have not used for turkey yet, but Used over Easter for a 16lb whole bone in ham. Put ham on an old roasting rack, ( the rack that comes with this is a bit flimsy), poured about a half a bottle of lemon lime soda over it and cooked at 200 degrees for about 6 hrs. Turned up to 300 degrees and dumped a jar of pineapple upside down preserves over and cooked for another hour. Removed and let rest for about 1/2 hr. By far the best ham I have ever made, kids all picked at it while it was being carved.. ( ham from John Martin out of Lancaster, Pa.) Very moist and flavorful. Family said it was the best they have ever eaten, daughter in law raved...said it was much better than the spiral sliced they had at her mothers the day before. All asked for leftovers, and I still had enough for leftovers and have the bone in the freezer to make ham soup. Hoping a turkey will do as well! Needed a steel wool pad for clean up, but it did the trick with no damage to the pan.

I've used it a handful of times. The enamel is wearing off badly. No longer usable. I've owned it 90 days. Used it to make apple butter and it came out tasting like metal.
