I had ordered these before and this batch wasn't of the same quality. The inside lining is thinner with a wider outer edge, so not as absorbent. I will have to research all over again. They work so I only wanted to give a 3.5 but it kept with the 4.

We buy these instead of the XLL doggy pee pads. We put one down if we ever have to leave our 2 dachshunds unattended and inside for more than 3 or 4 hours. Usually they hold it, but sometimes the older one can't. We like these because if they do pee on it, absolutely none seeps through it to the floor, and none of it drips over the side. It absorbs well. I will not go back to buying the real puppy pads as long as I can buy these. No mess at all! ... show more
