Flattering, feminine fit! It's a coat, made out of microfleece! When you want something warm, stylish, and dressier than a zip up or a sweatshirt, this is it! It's stitched and seamed beautifully and has a nice curved shape that lays well and holds its shape, buttoned or unbuttoned. The cut and nice detailing at the sleeves make it more "dressy" than your run-of-the-mill fleece jacket. It's long enough to cover your rear (hits midthigh on me (5'4")) and because of the seaming and shape it accentuates your waist and does not look "boxy." Very feminine. It is midweight and unlined so it won't substitute for a fine wool dress coat or down parka, but for a little extra wardrobe panache for running errands or going to work or school in the 40 degree New England Autumn, this one's a winner - it's got style! The only cautions I have are PLEASE follow the manufacturers size chart (this is a brand made and created for plus size women so they employ their own size chart which is the last picture on the left) so there isn't a continuation of the flood of negative "too big" reviews from people who did not take the time to look at the chart and consider their purchase carefully, and note that the fit may be just a little snug for a bulkier sweater if you have broad shoulders.

I really do love this Jacket, love love! I went for the largest size since ordering clothes online can be a crap shoot, even after reading reviews and noting that the sizes run large, I am a big lady, I would rather have something be big than too small. Having said that. I could have ordered a size smaller for sure. Maybe 2 if I wanted it to be fitting. But I didn't, I wanted to be comfortable. I get hot easily so I have only been wearing a T-Shirt under this even out in below 0 degree snowy weather. I have stayed quite warm. Of course I am wearing a hat, scarf and gloves, but still the wind and the chill haven't penetrated the material of the jacket. I am not sure I could imagine wearing a sweater under this personally, I would feel too bunched up. I am 5' 10". The length of this jacket is great. The only thing I would like to change is adding another button down the bottom. I have found that the last button does up at my waist and has flown open and been a bit chilly. The jacket comes with a spare button so I may very well take it upon myself and add the extra button. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase and am now saving a few pennies to buy another one in grey and a size smaller!

Very nice coat, especially for the price. It ran large as the reviews stated ; so it fit perfectly. The only thing I thought could be a little better was the buttons. There should be another towards the bottom. But it’s warm but not too heavy and very soft. I’d recommend it!

I lovelovelove this jacket! It's so hard to find an attractive jacket/coat in plus sizes that is also comfortable. This one absolutely is. It fits well without feeling tight or restricting movement. The slight flair at the bottom is feminine, but not overdone. It's so hard for me to find clothes I feel attractive in and this coat makes me feel cute. It's not very thick, but it's warmer than you would think. I live in the south, so this coat is perfect. If you live further north, this would probably not be a midwinter coat unless you have warm layers underneath. It would be great for late fall/early spring, though. I'm so happy I bought this jacket. I'm even thinking of buying a second one in case they stop making it.

This thing is huge! I normally wear a 4x and sometimes a 5x. I got this jacket in a 4x, and it's huge on me. The shoulders fit just fine, but the rest of the jacket that fits around the belly is too big. I can overlap it in the front like a bathrobe. The sleeves are also longer than on other jackets, and I actually like it that way. I always have problems with jacket and shirt sleeves being too short, so this extra length does a great job at protecting my arms from the cold. One thing that I'd like to mention is that the pockets are in a weird place. Most jackets have pockets sort of in the hip area, but these are a little more towards the front. They're also set a little lower than most other jackets. It's awkward reaching for them, because my arms come in closer towards my front. Also, the pockets aren't very deep, so I always worry that my gloves, keys, and phone will fall out. When I go shopping, I prefer to put those items in my purse instead of the jacket. Otherwise, this jacket is extremely warm! I often joke and call it "my blanket." That's because it's big and made of the same material as a blanket. If you are always burning up like me, then you should use this jacket as a coat in bitter temperatures. Otherwise, you'll burn up!

I never, in all my life, have owned a coat that I am 100% comfortable in, like I am in this coat. I loved how it looked on as well as how it felt. I was taking a trip to Seattle for NYE from South Texas. I go regularly and always just grin and bear it with a hoodie. I really wanted a solid coat and came across this one. For the price of it, I was skeptical. Also, being plus sized, I was even more skeptical of the likelihood that it would actually fit. Many plus sized items I buy online are either tremendously large or much, much, smaller than expected. The coat itself isn’t very heavy weight but layered over a decent sweater with some jeans and boots on, I was warm and comfortable and had plenty of motion and IT HAS POCKETS. 1000% recommend any of my fellow curvy chicas to buy. Buy to your size, it runs just right with a SMIDGE of extra room. IMO.
