I shot my first buck out of this stand. It is easy to put up once you figure it out. However, I have had struggles with the seat staying on and the lock nuts not locking, but I replaced them and things have gotten better.

Sturdy and easy to install. I’m 180 and it was nice and quiet while hunting. Away is not very large, but I stand mostly so not a big deal.

So I bought this by accident, I even started a return but decided not too. It doesn't weigh too much and it goes on pretty easy. Way better than my climber. You do need your own ladder system though.

    • I’m a tough critic, but when you’re in a stand a lot..
I’m a tough critic, but when you’re in a stand a lot you have time to assess and critique something how can you blame me. I’m 6’1” 217 lbs and initially upon installing the stand, I was stoked. It was dead quiet. If it’s quiet I’ll suffer the pain of not comfortable. The thing is because it’s not ideally comfortable I tend to stand up a few times and do calf raises (subtly that is) to keep my legs from falling asleep. Over the course of the first few times using it, it began to develop metallic pops when shifting weight both standing or situating oneself for a shot. I believe this is from lack of weld points on the expanded diamond mesh. I’ve since put a cut out board on top of it and has resolved the issue but I lost quite a few opportunities over the season because of spooking deer with the metallic popping sounds. The deer I have gotten out of it where all 40 yards and further out. At the same time it’s an inexpensive stand so you get what you pay for. I like to have tons of stands to play the wind so I try not break the bank. ... show more
