This multi-position ladder accomplishes multiple tasks with just one ladder. Set up the Dark Horse in stepladder, extension, 90-degree, staircase, and trestle-and-plank positions, for an easy climbing experience. Made from durable, non-conductive fiberglass, this ladder is ideal for most jobs, especially ones working around electricity. The Dark Horse is made with Little Giant’s iconic Hi-Viz green fiberglass, a safety-promoting color that increases its visibility for others, keeping you safer while in use. The ladder’s wide-flared base increases side-tip stability to prevent falls from accidental overreaching. Meeting or exceeding all OSHA and ANSI standards, the Dark Horse is rated Type IA to hold 300 lbs.

This is a great ladder. It seems very well built and durable. It can be maneuvered into several different positions, angles and heights which is great for a variety of areas to work. Seems like a game changer for a average homeowner. The hinges and locks seems strong so hopefully they hold up over time. The wheels are a nice touch, especially considering this ladder is a bit heavier than you’d expect when in the storage position. I wish the rungs were a bit wider and there was more protection in the packaging but that didn’t impact my review. ... show more

I had a different little giant ladder a few years ago and always was so nervous on it because it felt wobbly to me. I am a heavier girl, but am capable of anything and needed a ladder to get up on my roof a couple times a year. I was nervous but this ladder is very sturdy and easy to get up and down on. This is my second Little Giant ladder. My first multi position ladder. I purchased a king combo 6 ft ladder last year from Little Giant and wasn't impressed. They say you should have two ladders. A 6-ft step ladder which is the king combo 6 ft I have and a multiple position extension ladder. The multi-position use is for outside. I can say I purchased both letters as open boxes. I saved $150 on the Little Giant multi position ladder. And I saved over $100 on the king combo. All together I got two letters for the price of one. Not a bad deal. Even if full price I still say I got my money's worth if I had to pay for a price. But it's nice where you can get a discount and still go to quality product.
