  • Easy assembly - great functionality
This was just what I needed for my home gym. It does take up a large-ish "foot print" in your area compared to just a bench set for example, but for the functionality and variety of uses, it is worth it. I was able to assemble by myself in roughly 2 hours, don't let other reviews scare you. I will admit, I am a fairly handy person and I did have a 17mm socket and ratchet to use for assembly otherwise it would have taken me longer just due to the two wrenches being slower than using a ratchet to quickly tighten everything. Just a note of help - when you get to the point of assembling the pulley system - don't completely tighten any nuts until you have the cables all threaded through the wheels (the instructions will tell you to put the "wheels" on before threading the cables, so if you don't catch it you have to remove the screws in the next step to thread cables). Once you have the cables threaded through all the wheels it really finishes up quickly and works great. For the price point it is a very sturdy set, once assembled and tightened it isn't rocky or shifty at all. It is not squeaky at all either. I liked that the majority of the attachments, etc. are not permanently attached so you can take them off when you aren't using them, like the dip bars. Overall I couldn't have hoped for a better home gym set. I ended up purchasing weights and 2 bars from RitFit to complete my set. I can't recommend it enough. ... show more

  • Nice home quality gym
The Ritfit power cage is really nice it was well packaged easy to set up, I’m impressed considering the cost was minimal with Prime Days! This cage has everything I need for a workout. Their products are well made and they seem to be very good quality. The instructions were easy to follow and if you take your time nothing should cause you any issues. I wish the safety bar holes had numbers but I just added football helmet numbers so could easily distinguish where to put them quickly. Overall this Ritfit Cage and the RitFit Barbell are really nice and I would suggest anyone wanting an inexpensive setup give them your business, it’s very well made and when put together it offers a quality gym experience in a home setting ... show more

  • Works Great
Color: Red Style Name: Power Cage Only
Put together myself and took about two hours. Followed others recommendation to not attach wheels before the pulleys and that was perfect advice. The rack itself is sturdy, holds weight and so far I’ve had no issues with any of the J hooks or attachments. The one drawback I’d say is the pulldown attachment is that so far I can’t get a totally fully stretch at the top but I think I can adjust my seating height to fix that issue. The pulleys are great and smooth as well. This is a great value for the price. I got it on sale for 300 dollars and is well worth the money. I’d definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Unbeatable for the price
Color: Red Style Name: Power Cage Only
As other reviews have expressed, the shipping was a bit of a headache. It did ship in two boxes, but they were delivered several days apart and for some reason Amazon only gave me the tracking info for one of them, so I was fairly upset when only half of the parts were delivered and Amazon said "All done!". Thankfully, the seller was very quick to respond to my complaint and they gave me the shipping information for the second package. None of this will factor into my review as this is for the product itself. For the price, this is a fantastic home gym setup. I purchased the "Cage only" which just means I didn't get any barbells or weight plates along with it as I already have those at home. This power cage was my long overdue upgrade from my Gold's Gym XRS20 rack that I've been using for years. Assembly was easy and straightforward with only one exception being the pullies. For some reason, the manual tells you to install all the pullies first, then thread the cables through them even though there is not enough clearance to get the ends of the upper cable through the upper pullies. This wasn't too big of a deal as I just slung the cable over my shoulder and used the wrenches to remove one pully at a time before threading the cable through and re-attaching it. Everything feels very sturdy, thick, and solid, but I will update this review if any of the welds break or anything else fails under load. One minor critique I have is that the bolt on the cable that attaches to the weight carriage has no bumper or safety mechanism to keep it from damaging the upper pully if you pull the cable too far. I solved this by cutting a slit and hole into a tennis ball and putting it over the bolt (see picture). There's also the minor oversight of the manual not listing every part; so for a while I was confused about the six large rubber bumper washers until I realized intuitively that they are supposed to go on the weight pegs. You do have to take the plastic sleeves off, add the washer to it, and then screw the plastic sleeve back on. I thought it was odd that they weren't on the pegs to begin with and that there was no mention of them in the manual. Since I received the two boxes a few days apart, I assembled the base of the rack first and then finished the build once the rest of the parts arrived. In total I think it took me around two hours to assemble it. I was alone and I think it would have gone faster with a partner. Pro-tip: if you have socket wrenches, use those instead of the included wrenches to make things much faster. Another little complaint is that even though the rack comes with those four handy little storage rings that hang from the top, there is no way to attach the included accessories without buying additional carbineers/snap hooks. Lastly, I wish they included a note on how much the pully weight carriage weighs since that would be useful to factor in when planning workouts. Not that difficult to find out, but I wish that I had brought a scale out to weight it before I assembled it. Now I'll need to get one of those hanging hook scales to see how much weight is being pulled when the carriage is empty. Even though I have griped about all the little annoyances, this really is a great product. I've used it for a few days without any issues. I'm most concerned about the cable system holding up over time, and I am hopeful that getting replacement parts isn't that difficult if the need ever arises. I am sure that you could get a power rack that has better quality parts, better assembly instructions, and possibly even more attachments and cable features, but not at this price point. Great product. ... show more

  • So good for the price.
I thought this thing would be bad because its so cheap. To be honest I don't understand how they sell it for so cheap its everything you could want in a rack. The pully system is also amazing and smooth. I use a line backer attachment and stick 200+ pounds on a single pin all the time and it holds it no problem at all. After using this thing for 3 months I have a few things you should keep in mind. 1) It comes with 4 weight horns. While you use this you need weight on the weight horns or the rack will not be stable. I have tons of weight plates so its not a problem but keep in mind that you need to load up the rack with some plates so if you don't have many plates your rack will not be as stable. I always have like 100+ pounds on it so while the horns have weight on them its REALLY solid and does not wobble at all. 2) The lat pull down has no way to keep your legs in place making it unusable to be honest (anyone who does lat pulldown knows that you lift off the weight bench) without a hack. I have a swiss bar so I put the swiss bar under the saftey pins and it locks me in super tight but you have to have something or the lat pulldown is not good. ... show more
