I purchased this because I could not find my product I used for 2 years. This product caused severe itching on my scalp and I had to shampoo it out. It also caused my hair to become very dry and brittle. I know how to use this type of product and have NEVER had this kind a problem. Now Amazon won’t let me return it and I’m out of $25+!

This stuff is horrible for fine hair. Made my hair like paste, hard to wash out. Can't return so have to trash. I use Joico Defy shampoo, mask & protection shield. Those are great.

This stuff is a miracle. As someone with cosmetology license, I knew how great this brand of hair products are. They are one of my go to brands. But this is something I haven’t tried. It’s a powder. Not sure about drying hair. It works some to help probably but I mostly used it on dry hair. It REALLY fluffs up the roots. Or all the hair if you choose. Doesn’t fill awful or too dry either. Doesn’t make the hair stiff like hairspray. Just really gives volume! It’s the best thing I’ve ever used! I would gladly pay money for this. I felt like it lasted a long time too. If you have thinning hair your would love it. I mainly use it on top in front because mine is blonde and thin. I have a lot but not so much there. It’s a white powder but goes on like translucent so I guess it is. Doesn’t show in hair that I’ve noticed. My roots are a dark blonde and I’ve used it when I was due for having my hair frosted. It made hair poofy more so I felt like the roots didn’t show as bad. The powder is real fine and soft. I opened it and poured some in hand.

When I grabbed this product I was under the impression that it was a dry spray because it’s listed as a “powder”. While it is a powder product, it is wet. When the pump is pressed a bunch of powder AND water both spray from the pump. I’m very familiar with using powder dry shampoos and volumizers, but I have no experience using a wet powder product and found the application to be difficult. The pump sprays so much powder in a very concentrated area and I found it difficult to distribute the product throughout my roots. I ended up having to spray the product in several areas for coverage, but then found it to be much too heavy. Now, this product does provide serious volume. My hair is fine, pin straight and flat so I need all the volume I can get. This product pumped me right up, but it also left me looking somewhat greasy. I needed to apply an alternative dry shampoo at my roots to combat the likely overuse of this product. I think the product is good, but the application will be a learning process that I’m not sure I want to dedicate myself to.
