I am a recreational ( serious) classical ballet dancer and these knee guards literally save my knees. I wear them over my ballet tights and they are super comfortable. I just bought another one to wear on both my knees. I love the color too.

About six months ago I misplaced, lost, left behind, whatever my neoprene knee brace. Went back to the place where I bought it and they now stock a different brand. Was not satisfied with their new brand so kept on the hunt. Was kind of skeptical with this one because of the difference in fabric but it is one of the few that I found that has the non-slip bands around the top. After carefully taking my measurements, I ordered the XL (I was between XXL & XL so I ordered the XL as per suggested). The look, the feel, the size is exactly what I've been looking for. They are snug but not excessively binding and the non-slip band around the top is performing as expected. I've been wearing them for the past couple of hours and moving around to try and have them slip down, but they have stayed in place. This was very important to me because I want to get back to my run/walk activities and don't want to worry about having to pull them up while in the middle of a race. I am 5-10 and 190 lbs, measured 4" above kneecap and came up with 19" which is on the top end of the Large size range. Ordered Large. This product is not loose, not too tight. But when I walk the product gradually falls down from the thigh area bunching up around the knee. Because the fabric is thick and the sleeve is uniform width from the bottom band to the top band, the bunching causes it to be loose around the knee and I have to constantly adjust. The sleeve has no way of self-preventing bunching. Really not very happy. And, if you are wearing loose pants on top of this product, it moves around even more and becomes very difficult to adjust without removing the pants. There is no way I could wear this for anything active, I'm limited to using it around the house, in the kitchen, or resting. ... show more
