Oh Ladies, you need this lamp! It is DARLING! I can't stop looking at how sweet it is! Maybe you can't afford a real crystal chandelier, but it's easy to afford a $40 imitation to add beauty and romance to your home. It's not often something you buy exceeds your expectations, but this exceeded mine. The beads are not glass but they are clear, heavy, and bright. It's going to be a b***ch to keep clean, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. They should design the frame work to snap off the electrical component for this purpose, but I think removing those top 5 screws may allow that. Assembly was easy, except all the teeny-tiny key-ring loops that hold the crystals on, those sort of tore up my fingernails bit it was worth it. The cord is super long too, which is good. Per a different buyer, it works to add the hanging bead strings (D) from every-other-hole; and do those first. ... show more

My husband and I are working on finishing our basement for our oldest and we wanted something adorable, but also budget friendly as we didn't have the skills or extra cash to run electric through the ceiling without it being expensive.
