I bought 2 of these. 1 for me and 1 for my wife. They are extremely easy and quick to assemble. We did a 24 mile round trip and both still had at least 2/5 of the battery left. we did however run into a problem with some of the pre-assembled items. BOTH of our left cranks came loose about half way through our ride. the tool kit did not have a wrench to tighten these, so we had to stop almost every mile on the way home to tighten them as much as we could. very inconvenient. Also, my chain guard came loose and broke, jamming itself into the front shifter. make sure you check every screw and bolt before you go for a long ride. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is our 2nd electric bicycle. Our first one was a 14inch wheel commuter electric bike. I initially bought the smaller commuter electric bike because the handle can be folded down for easier transportation by car or even to take it on the train when commuting to work in the city. I really liked my first electric bike but my kids were making fun of me that it looks funny when a 5'11" tall man is riding a 14" wheel bike 😆 My kids also loved our first electric bike but they were keep insisting that we get a full size electric bicycle so I finally pulled the trigger and got this 26inch wheel Rinkmo electric mountain bike and both my children and I could not be more happier! 🤩 It's not really fair to compare this electric bicycle with my first 14" commuter electric bike but there are definitely some PROs and CONs between these 2 electric bikes that I want to point out but just use it as a reference since they are two very different types of bikes with different purpose. WHAT I LIKE: ✔️ Love the 26 inch mountain wheels with aluminum alloy frame - perfect for teenagers and adults up to 265 lbs, according to Rinkmo ✔️ Shimano 21 Speed Gears - great when riding it as a regular bicycle ✔️ 250W brushless motor that can top at 20 MPH speed ✔️ 10Ah lithium battery - enough juice to last 22 to 38 miles depending on Pedal Assist Mode used ✔️ Removable battery with a lock and waterproof cap - it's so much more convenient to just the take the battery out to charge it inside the house or in the office without bringing in the bicycle ✔️ 5 different Pedal Assist Mode - this is like a hybrid mode where you must pedal to get the electric assist ✔️ Full electric mode - you can just use the handlebar throttle to cruise without pedaling ✔️ Dual Front and rear disc breaks - much better than traditional tire breaks and better control with stops ✔️ Electric powered headlight that can be turned on or off manually, along with electric honk ✔️ Front shock suspension fork - after all, this is a mountain bike so suspension help with smooth and less bumpy rides on rough terrains ✔️ Battery level is displayed in 20% increment on the handle bar and 25% increment on the battery unit ✔️ Kickstand and reflectors on the back of the seat, both wheels and on the pedals ✔️ Came in a well packaged and protected box with instruction manual and tool kit WHAT I DON'T LIKE / NICE TO HAVE: ⛔ I wish it had LCD to display the speed and total mileage, etc. ⛔ While it's great to have electric front headlight, it would have been awesome to also have electric backlight that blinks or lids when you break ⛔ As a mountain bike, it would be better to include mud guards on both tires ⛔ Some assembly is needed but it comes with all the took kit and instruction manual with pictures. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble front wheel, handle bar, and the seat. BOTTOM LINE: Easily 5 out of 5 stars! You will most likely become lazy and probably would never use this as a regular bicycle but good thing is that you don't have to use it as 100% electric bike since it has Pedal Assist Mode! So you can still pedal to get some exercise while getting some assist from electric motor, which is great feature and the battery will last much longer than using it as full 100% electric bike. Can't say enough about how amazing this electric bicycle is and my teenager sons are always fighting over this and with me... I might have to get another electric bike so we can all share and be happy 😁 I highly recommend this Rinkmo 26" mountain electric bike without any reservation. You will love it like we did! I bought this bike for my husband about 3 weeks ago, easy to assemble and good price,the bad thing is it having problems with the chain and the left crank arm came off, no tools to fix it! I have had this bike going on 2 months. The bike description said the battery lasts 22 to 38 miles. I took it out on a bike trail which was mostly flat. For fun, we decided to race back at full assist on our bikes. Reaching 8, 9 miles one way on half assist, only for my battery to almost die on full assist heading back. I didn't use the throttle. I could tell the bike was getting weaker during the last bit. Or maybe it was me, considering I have the body of a couch potato. Basically, my battery didn't seem to make it to the "22" miles. Whereas, the bike trail before, which had more hills, managed to make the 22 'ish miles round trip with two bars to spare. Its wondering if I just have a bad battery or not. All in all, I'm cool with my cheaper purchase. My son and I enjoy the bike as it continues to suit our purposes. Because of the fun, I bought another e-bike. A different one this time, only because it comes with different features, such as an odometer/speedometer and sports mode. :-) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love it! Easy to put together, but not if you're not mechanically inclined, or just inclined to complain. I've ridden it twice and it handles great. Based on your height, you will need to make adjustments - i.e., seat post. You may have to make more adjustments (I did) to the "handle bar controls" in order to find it easier to manipulate with your thumbs, and also have the room for a flashing white light. The light that came in the box was really nice. For roads bike trails and light off road trails the bike is great. Its smooth quite powerful and the thicker tires smooth out the ride. It seems well built and the range also seems quite good. We just had 6 friends of all different ages try out this bike and they all loved it.To be clear this is not a high end com I bought a basket for the back that I attached to the seat post, in order to carry additional items - sun screen, small air pump, etc.. Also, I bought an additional red flasher for the back, so I don't get run over - hopefully. A front carry case fits nicely on the top horizontal bar, near the handle bar post. Hope this helps. Note: This bike is fast, especially down hill, with the assist mode. Be careful on turns when gunning it. ... show more

Checked e bikes in different price categories and did not feel inclined to spend $2-2K on an ebike before trying one. Bought the Rinkmo byke and was pleasantly surprised with the byke . Arrived within one week, easy to assemble in about 45 min and pretty decent quality. Again, you will not find a better byke for this price, I am 6' tall, 215 pounds and the byke delivers up and down hill, on and off road, as always Amazon delivers! ... show more
