Overall a good little solar camera. Pros: 1. The camera is really good 2. I don't have an outlet near this so solar was great. It is sitting on my fence so this made installation a breeze. Cons: 1. The light is so so -- but I didn't buy it for the light really, I got it so I could see when someone came up my driveway as this is a blindspot on my house. 2. Buy a second battery because after about a month it just seemed to die. A second battery helped a lot. 3. Ring should have a setting for you to say how long to keep the light on. I find it annoying that it turns off really quickly. ... show more

The light charges pretty quickly in the Florida sun. The motion detection can be a bit quick if you don’t set it a little less sensitive. Works well with Alexa if you have a Bridge to connect it.
