The ring door bell is better than expected. I've tried other camera doorbell ie, Geenie, Blinking, and none of them gave me the confidence and peace of mind to know I received a quality product. One that is reliable, easy to install, and affordable. I'm completely satisfied with the Ring Doorbell camera and would recommend it's purchase to friends , family and acquaintances.

Setup was super easy and was done in about 1 minute provided you have your wifi password ready at hand. However, i wonder the product will become obsolete with newer versions of WIFI standards coming up and older wifi's will be deemed unusable, insecure.... That is a concern, planned obsolescence. It would be better suited to just rely on direct bluetooth communication with the ring door bell without having to be connected to wifi local network.

The Ring Chime is a great addition to your Ring system if you're looking for a dedicated, in-home doorbell alert. It’s easy to set up, the sound quality is solid, and the price is reasonable. While not perfect, it does the job well and adds convenience to your smart home setup. The connection between the Chime and my Ring doorbell is stable, and I haven’t experienced any lag or delay in hearing the notifications. However, there have been occasional instances when the chime doesn’t activate right away.
